the mask

can you hear me?

lions and trees

music

little slices of joy

clear skies

sunday morning

darkness of reality

We all like a good story. I believe that no story is better than the one we are living right now. As a writer, I strive to tell everyone's story because it is through stories that we heal ourselves. 
I've been writing poetry since I was a child. In 2007, I started sharing my poetry as spoken word. 
Five years later, I started doing more than just sharing, hoping to tell stories as a poet across the country. I released my first CD of poetry, Not A Storybook <3, August 2011. I participated in the 2013 Women of the World Poetry Slam, and am now a member of the Dallas Poetry Slam Team.
Writing and telling stories feeds my soul and any opportunity I have to do that I take as a blessing.
