Writersday is a  Indie Rock band
The band is formed around songwriter &  leadsinger Sjoerd Hoogma.
They are Inspired by artists as Bowie, U2, Keane, Beck, The Verve, Spacehog and Kings of Lion .

" Do the unexpected, be colorful and be the Famous You", thats the credo of WRITERSDAY new and third album #PIP.  All 13 songs, written by frontman Sjoerd Hoogma are like a intergalactic journey between heart and mind. Clearly the band pushed there musical boundaries, found a perfect balance combining their analoge recordings and modern beats and loops. When you see the band live you obviously hear music yet, all your other senses will be stimulated to; the four-person band let you feel, see, smell, hear and taste. The new single A.I. gives you a glimpse of a nearby future where human and robot could be lovers.
