Rhaiti is a rapper from Essex who began his rap career spitting to Kanye West’s Late Registration in the car with his brother and dad as a kid. He is a Liverpool fan, is half-Moroccan, and his favourite artist is Santan Dave. Rap’s relatability, wordplay, and emotion gave him the motivation to pursue a career in the genre and his music aims to explore aspects of our lives, emotions, and thoughts, as well as highlighting social issues.

These forces influenced his early music. His first single, Home?, is the story of Ali Khan, a migrant from Afghanistan, who fled the Taliban so that he could lead a peaceful life in the UK. Ritez followed this up with ‘Call Me’, whose witty wordplay explores the highs and lows of a relationship interrupted by lockdown. His third single ‘Polly’ takes a novel perspective on life on road, where it is a woman, based on the Peaky Blinders character Polly Shelby, who runs the mob.
