WrongPlanet (Dj Jock) started as a Dj in 1985 where he learnt to scratch and mix records.

Mixing early hip hop /electro and breaks from 1986 to 1990.

He played out as Dj through the late eighties House Techno and UK rave scene until 1992, where he went onto playing early progressive house and US house to mid nineties.

In 1996 Dj Jock entered the DMC UK Technics mixing championships London heats, up against the “Scratch Perverts”. Mixing hip hop and funk with drum and bass gaining originality and credibility.

In 1999 he entered the Brighton DMC championships and was recognised for his originality by “Dj Crafty Cuts “for mixing a Stevie Wonder track with Daft Punk. This lead to him warming up for him at Charged club nights in Brighton playing breaks and hip hop.

2003 Dj Jocks mash up bootleg mixes were played by Radio 1s Jo Whiley on her slot “Bootleg Genius” and XFMs Tim Lovejoy and John Kennedy’s shows.

I’m the mid 2000s he remixed Keane’s ‘put it behind you’ track and also ‘My Shadow’ , creating a gritty minimal beats led remix.

He is currently producing future beats/ bass and a wide genre of electronic music.
