Running from May 2002 to February 2003 this weekly radio show was a 15min collage of recordings from pirate stations in London. The show was eventually forced to close following a complaint made to the then Radio Authority. This selection draws together some of the characters & musics which make up London's chaotic radio space. Some of the mixes also include some vintage recordings.

To start the New Year off on our label, we present Urvin June a songwriter and producer, based in London, UK. Previous release: ‘Deep in the life’ with Lady Blacktronika, featuring Ira Levi, on Your Only Friend Recordings. On this package he features Vaun Noir, singer/songwriter born and raised in South London. Drawing inspiration from, among others, Amy Winehouse, Billy Holiday, Gavin DeGraw and Nina Simone. Vaun works in a broad spectrum of genres such as Urban Acoustic, Soul, House and Electro. 

This deep house release also has remixes by the label boss DJ Thes-Man who needs no further introduction and The Prince who’s also a music producer from a small town called Tabankulu in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. He mostly produces deep house although it's not the only genre in which he is comfortable. He has done remixes for a number of artists including Rasmus Faber, Urvin June, Azealia Banks, Sanna Hartfield, Allusive Soul, Andyboi and more. He draws his influence from a number of artists across various genres.
