Loved my last track Death Drive (on DeskPop records) but don't like feeling weird and depressed on Christmas? Look no further!

Thanks to BTS for the inspiration to do this lol. This was originally supposed to be a joke, but idk, I put a lot of work into it and it does have some serious holiday spirit so now I don't know what it is~

Additionally, what's featured here was my original concept artwork for death drive (with a little holiday remixing of its own), which I haven't had a chance to share up until now!

Back in 2019 i'd kindly asked @sylcmyk for the stems to this track, as their original version had been a repeat favorite ever since I first heard it, and it always looped in my head with me getting bits and bobs of ideas throughout, but a lot of time passed and I never got around to properly finishing or dropping my remix...that is until now! I'm quite pleased with how this turned out after some further tinkering 4 years later.

Key (Shady Monk Remix)

sylcmyk - Key (Shady Monk Remix) (January 6th, 2019)

This is a highly unfinished and super rough track that was originally supposed to be on I Am Super Confused. It is, in fact, the first song I started for that record, as evidenced by it's filename, "sc1". It was my first attempt at a track that transitioned smoothy from one tempo to another and as you can probably hear, it was a failure.

For whatever reason, it came out really dark and lethargic, the opposite feeling I try and get out of the WTA JRK project. So, as the other tracks I made turned out so much better, it got scrapped. But it is important, because it contains the germ of future projects. The next time I tried a track with a tempo change, it became The Worst Tape By The Dumbest Guy, a single 15 minute-long song, which you can download on October 19, 2010 from http://wtajrk.com.
