Born and raised outside of the nation’s capital, William Thompson grew up exposed to both music and the Word of God through the pastoral ministry of his parents. He got his start in music at the age of two, playing the drums. He discovered his singing voice at the age of seven and began playing piano at 14. But it was in 2011, at the age of 17, that he received the call from God to go into music ministry, and since then he has ministered with multiple singers and groups, as well as various churches throughout the region. In September, 2018, he began serving as the minister of music at Kingdom Life Community Church. Inspired by artists such as William McDowell, Todd Dulaney, J.J. Hairston, and Hillsong Worship, William is passionate for the presence of God. A composer , musician, and psalmist, he is committed to providing for others an opportunity to experience and engage the Living God through worship. His heart's desire is that he would enable others to experience and encounter the presence of God as well, drawing closer to Him through music. He has just released his debut single entitled "Ready" and is currently in the process of producing his first album.
