Allana Letm is a DJ and producer from Goiânia, Brazil. She has been standing out in her region through her productions and DJ sets, which have led her to win some contests. She recently won 2nd place in the contest promoted by Truncate for her remix of the track "Room Mode". Her musical research is focused on raw/hypnotic techno, where she explores lines with hypnotic vocals, textures and groovy soundscapes

INTERROGATION 13:   

1. How did your journey into music begin?  

-  It started at an early age, when I was a child I joined a music course and learned to play the guitar. From then on, music became inseparable from my being. I started studying other instruments too, and before I entered the world of electronic music I played flute and saxophone in symphonic bands. At some point I decided that I wanted to learn how to produce electronic music. I didn't have any specific genre in mind, just wanted to understand how the process worked. On that path I ended up discovering techno, which was the genre I identified with the most and I've been delving into it ever since  

2. What do you like most about the Brazilian techno scene?   

-  The Brazilian scene has been growing a lot and I think it's great to see our artists establishing themselves more and more, each with their own signature sound. I think this makes the scene very rich as a whole
 
3. What kind of music did you grow up listening to? 

-  I grew up listening to a lot of rock, heavy metal, R&B and pop music
 
4. How did you come up with the sound that appeals to you now?
  
-  When I started studying music production, I explored a few genres, trying to find out what I liked and what I didn't like. I delved deeper and found my way through the new things I discovered over time. This path eventually led me to techno, which, the first time I heard it, I felt something different, it was love at first sight
  
5. Which techno scene in the world is most appealing to you and why?   

-  I really want to get to know the scene in general here in South America, there are some interesting clubs I'd like to go to. And I also really like the scene in my city, I think it's very strong, diverse and delivers a lot of quality
 
6. Achievements (radio broadcasts/performances in institutions) 

-  One of my greatest achievements was winning Truncate's remix contest. It was something totally unexpected for me, and it's a bit unbelievable to this day. Another very happy moment was seeing Richie Hawtin play one of my songs at the Under Club last year, something I didn't expect to happen either. Also, seeing a track of mine being played at Berghain by Amanda Mussi was another incredible moment
 
7. Are you currently doing anything related to musical culture? (your community/parties/studio/or maybe work in a vinyl store for example) 

-  I try to keep in the habit of always producing something in the field of music. In addition to my hypnotic techno productions, lately I've been getting into the world of visual music and I plan to do some work in this area as well

Rada Renard is a secretive person and doesn’t like to talk about herself much. Not even all her friends know anything about her.


Only two things are known: she is a young producer who combines shamanic motifs with snippets of phrases from recordings of her voice.


And also that she invites talented artists for short interviews in her modest musical project. She called this project WTP, which stands for "Web of Talented People". 
In these interviews, she asks artists about what music they grew up with, what influenced to their sound and how they came up to the techno music.
