Here we are, nearly one year has passed since I started my new mix series.
So I thought for the last episode I'm gonna play my favorites from this year. It was a very hard decision although some of my favorites got released this year (Congrats on that one) and there would have been space for a lot more but I gave my best!
On this point I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the artist sending me their music. Without you there would be no single episode!
I will continue this series in the next year so feel free to send me your unreleased 140bpm tunes.
But for now, enjoy the last episode of this year and enjoy a good cup of tea.

Our new tune ‘Contemplate’ is out today on @amygdalauk with bside Bolla dropping on 28th February.

To coincide with this release, we’ve teamed up with Florence based visual artist, @camijungle , to create a limited edition run of art prints printed on 300gsm smooth cotton. These are available to pre-order now from the Amygdala Bandcamp and are of a limited run of 40 prints.

Argo's collaboration with Chestplate is a natural fit, as both the artist and label share a dedication to evolving dubstep without sacrificing its core elements.

In this EP Argo masterfully blends raw energy, organic textures, and intricate bass manipulation in each track, showcasing his talent for creating deep, atmospheric soundscapes that pay homage to the genre's roots while pushing it into new territories. Both track have already gained support from Distance, Hijinx, Cimm, Pinch, Dj Ntype plus more.

Track 1. Marécage Urbain.

A dark stomper with a gritty, organic vibe that rattles the chest and moves the soul. Argo's meticulous sampling brings an added layer of authenticity, making this track feel both heavy and alive with a relentless rhythm and a raw intensity that echoes the underground roots of dubstep.

Track 2. Onyxia

Bringing in a 2-step vibe, 'Onyxia' echoes the sound of legendary Horsepower Productions, with its soulful guitar samples and eerie synth strings creating an atmosphere that's both haunting and hypnotic. A perfect balance of nostalgia and forward-thinking production.
