I’ll start by saying this is 100% an Undertale OST remix. Credit where it’s due, Toby Fox -fkn genius bastard- made many elements in this song.

To me, this kinda always felt like a collaboration with Fox through time and space. After playing Undertale enough times to get every single ending, the soundtrack basically lives in my head.
As I play, I can’t help but just…stand around in the environment and listen to the music, beatboxing along as a storm of new ideas rage in my brain.
But this time while attempting a genocide run, I payed even more attention to the elements and I found numerous things that I believe work well together.

But then I got on that elevator again and it hit me. Such a soft and hypnotic tone. With headphones cranked to 11, it vibrated my skull and I knew it would sound even better with a thick ass sub underneath it.

Toby Fox designed everything in the game to be extremely unsettling. I wanted to amplify that vibe -laggy tempo, empty space, dissonant voices, and an untrusting sense of peace. To feel so still, yet unable to ignore the pounding of your heart in your chest. A subtle creeping dread.

"To achieve synchronization of brain hemispheres, the Hemi-Sync Technique takes advantage of a phenomenon known as the Frequency Following Response (FFR) which means that if a subject hears a sound produced at a frequency which emulates one of those associated with the operation of the human brain, the brain will try to mimic the same frequency pattern by adjusting its brainwave output.
