Crashes and user errors aside, this was an interesting Morning Pages. First, that Whole/Half Diminished scale is weeeeiiirrrd! Not super melodic to my ears, but your mileage may vary. Started with the Kick 2 VST which turned into a lesson on how to re-register your product after cleaning out your studio computer. Programmed in a nice aggressive kick drum. We used the Moog Matriarch for some creepy arpeggios that drove the atmosphere (later, alongside Rings/Beads) before adding a more melodic, but basic bassline to keep us in that Ab root. Next we came up with a house organ sound with the Oberheim Matrix and added quite a bit of saturation thanks to the Spectral Blur Max for Live device. Drove it home with Bertha 2 and some tasty acid lines on the TD-3.

I'm thrilled to present a clockworked remix by Neons Gone Mad (@prof-oddfellow) of Snail and the Lost Duckling. The original track was the last track (and one of my favorites) off of my album 'Afraid of the Dark.' Neons Gone Mad darkened the mood by writing lyrics and adding their signature clockwork sound to the track. I hope you enjoy this haunting lullaby.

RMF 2023 - Cantos (Stage 2 closing set)

We're extraordinarily excited to finally reveal an audio track inspired by our Field Guide to Identifying Unicorns by Sound.  It's a collaboration between us and the recording artist and remixer Fear of Tigers.  Truth be told, for about eight whole years Mr. Tigers led us down the garden path (in all fairness, unicorn trackers are going to be led down a garden path, one way or another).  We finally asked ourselves, "Why are we still keeping this track under wraps?"  So here it is -- and if you're new at this, may it assist you to hear your first unicorn.
