Wunderkammer presents WK 010, Dealing with deep by label head honcho Saverio Lattanzio (Malkavath).

For our 10th release we've saved something special. This is an EP with a different aesthetic to other EP's, it touches on Deep techno and house but is found floating somewhere between these genres and electronica. Sparse yet sophisticated pads and analog drums resonate throughout the whole release with elements of Malkavaths 'sound'.

We're delighted to be putting this one out there.

For our latest Bleep Mix instalment, Sandwell District come through with a hefty programming of dark rollers fulfilling that promise of reinvigorated purpose they mentioned before: “Having a good time”. And with a wealth of exclusive unheard material it’s hard to refute the mission statement. Dropping straight into the cavernous environs of an unreleased Regis side Frosty Jack’s, the selection rides a restrained line building tension through a number of Nastia Reigel tracks deployed with utmost precision before upping its stride with Luke Slater’s Planetary Assault Systems and quickly landing first peak from The Wizard himself, with Jeff Mills' slamming ‘93 cut Step to Enchantment (Stringent). Taking in a track from their comrade Surgeon’s forthcoming album, as well as the simmering acid of their own tune Hidden, Sandwell District bring it back round full circle via two further unreleased reworks of heroes Meat Beat Manifesto providing a breakbeat singed rupture to close out the proceedings with the vocal snatches of MBM’s Helter Skelter summing it all up really: “It's in my brain now. This is it!”

The release of Temporary Suspension on Ostgut Ton in 2009 marked the powerful return of Slater as Planetary Assault Systems - reigniting the fire of classic techno and setting the tone for a new era of live performance.
This recording is a snapshot of that exact energy: deep, hypnotic, and unrelenting. Expect pure techno power from one of its most vital architects. 🎛️
