Wurtz is a melodic techno producer and DJ from Italy with releases on Armada music, Running Clouds, Ritter Butzke, Somatic Records and Be Free.

Born in 1990, started his career after years of underground culture. He graduated in Milan SAE Institute (Sound Audio Engineering) and then started to produce his own music.

Wurtz is steadily growing and making his name on the music industry. 
Inspired in the melodic techno, his melodic and dark sound evoked deep personal emotions as it connects with his audience. 

Over the last months Wurtz released on labels like Armada Music, Be Free Recordings and Running Clouds. Also Cercle and Artbat added his music on his Spotify playlist.

Wurtz has been behind the decks in different countries like Egypt, Spain, Italy, India, Costa Rica, Qatar, Mexico, Chile or Lebanon to name a few, playing in festivals or clubs such as Zamna Festival, Fabrique Milano, Ushuaia, Hï Ibiza, BO18, Bar Americas and many more. 

Wurtz’ rapid rise as an artist continues to accelerate, with his modern melodic techno sound gaining early support from Tale of Us in a lot of Afterlife’s shows.

His music had the support from great artists such as Tale of Us, Kevin de Vries, Cassian, Agents of Time, Mind Against, David Guetta, Artbat, Fideles, Mathame, 8kays, Mind Against, The Element, Oostil, Armonica, Lehar, Musumeci, Magit Cacoon, Soel, Cercle's party and more.

We have been upgrading our home studio over the past few weeks, and the results are amazing! we will share a few before & after shots in our next post including the gear we have been using. For now, we couldn't help but test drive the new toys & blasting sound system. So we came up with this solid mix of our favorite Melodic Techno tracks at the moment. Catalogue number 162 marks the final Amber Blue Recordings release of 2025 – and it's going to be a very special one. Shihaby celebrates his debut on the label with a production that deliberately departs from the usual mainstream. Biography
Alessandro Serena aka Wurtz was born in Genoa (Italy) in 1990. His passion for music began very early and the first own experiences behind the decks was at the age of 18 in the local Ligurian Riviera scene, becoming residence of Riviera Gang, the most important organization in Liguria.
He graduated in Milan SAE Institute (Sound Audio Engineering) and then started to produce his own music. He got very early important feedbacks and support of well-known artists such as Richie Hawtin. He spent a year in South America and after, he returned to Europe, more precisely in Ibiza, where he started to work in a reality like Afterlife. During these years, he changed and matured it’s own sound, reaching more melodic vibes, but always keeping his dark side in his productions.
In the last year (2019) he was supported a lot by Tale of us, especially the own edit of Florence The Machine - Jenny of Oldstone (Game of Thrones lyric).
He got also the big support in the last months by a lot of Afterlife’s artist and not, like Kevin de Vries, Agents of Time, Mind Against, Artbat, Fideles, Mathame, Mind Against, Oostil, Lehar, Musumeci, Magit Cacoon, Soel, Erly Tepshi, Olivier Weiter, Cercle’s party and more.
