Embracing the shadows of Manchester's electronic underground, our next voyage in the Zonate series unfolds with a mix curated by the enigmatic Taylor Kerr. Hailing from the heart of the city, Taylor is the visionary force behind the recently birthed 'Distant Future' party, a new brand crafted to echo his own profound and dark tastes.

Venturing into the unknown realms of electronic soundscapes, Taylor's mix is a testament to the craft of storytelling through music. Weaving a tapestry of dark, moody techno and electro - a sound which is quickly gaining him prominence in the shadows of nightlife in the North.

Tower blocks tagged in neon, street-lamps buzzing, gutters slick with oil… that’s the turf of the “yaourt-cats,” rooftop strays who meow a single warped word before melting back into shadow. Over grimy house-techno grooves their paws hammer the pulse, claws sampling the concrete: heavy kicks, filthy subs, synths as sour as a dented tin can. Four tracks built for after-midnight wandering—hood up, head down—guided by phosphorescent eyes toward the rave hiding deep in the alleyways.

After several years of being resident DJ of Future Terror and Cabaret, 
KABUTO now organises his own party called LAIR at Grassroots in Tokyo, and in 2016 he launched new party DAZE OF PHAZE plays alongside many of international acts. He’s been very successful in many fields, exploring unique techno / house music with his groove and solid mixing skills. In recent years, he’s appeared on some podcasts such as Strictly Vinyl and ToiToi Musik.
