Lenny Lawson, known as "Mr. Pseudonyms," is one of the greatest up and coming artists/musicians ever; clear tones, smooth, clear lyrics.  Lenny is a NU-SOUL artist, who attributes his soulfulness to the gospel quartet songs his father recorded on SaVoy Gospel Records (Malaco Music Group) in the 1960's with "The Original Soul Seekers, featuring Reverend Marion Hannah." In high school, Lenny was honored with a plaque for "Best Male Vocalist" by music teacher, the Grammy Award Winning, Rev. Stefanie Minatee (Jubilation).  Lenny toured with the North Carolina A&T Fellowship Gospel Choir, (GC) as a lead tenor, as they placed #1 in the National Choir Competition 3 out of 4 years.  LennyLawson (Mr. Pseudonyms) is also known as "Baby Dubb," Lenny Blocko" and "Ron "Neff-U" Feemstar." "Sir Blocko" won two first place trophies and two cash prizes, at the Sony Music Night Competition, at Newark Symphony Hall in Newark, NJ.  "Blocko" went on, to receive a standing ovation as the first runner up, at Amateur Night's "Showtime at The Apollo" with a heart wrenching rendition of Van McCoy's, "Giving Up Is Hard To Do," as composed by Donny Hathaway.  Lenny has been featured in Upstage Magazine, VIBE Magazine, Step Up 2 The Streets Soundtrack, and was twice selected as a featured entertainer in North Carolina A&T State University's Annual "BLOCK PARTY,"  (AGGIE PRYEED!) Lenny Lawson has been chosen to provide entertainment for LIFEBEAT, to uplift the spirits of hospitalized AIDS victims, in NYC.   Lenny has produced and written hit records for all of the artists on the MY BLOCK INC. records roster, including Mary Mary, The Soul Seekers, Kelly Price, and newcomer, JoiStaRR.  Lenny is the founder of PAJAM, ZOMBA, and GOSPOCENTRIC, as well as GNOTE, WUTANG PROTECK-YA-NECK RECORDS, & MY BLOCK Inc.  Lenny Lawson is a United States Army Veteran in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Lenny Lawson, and The Lawson Family, suffered a tremendous loss in 2000, when his older brother and idol, the Minister Larry Lawson, Jr., Antioch Christian Church, NJ, a Gulf War Army Veteran, passed on, from complications, stemming from pancreatic cancer.  Lenny and his family used to sing, pray, and worship in church together, up until the very end.  Lenny was deeply saddened by the loss of his closest role model, and he made the tough decision, to step away from pursuing his dream of a career in music, for a short time.  Now, Lenny's song, "MOVE MOUNTAINS," shows his determination to overcome his feelings of sadness, and channel his energy into his first love, gospel music.  Lenny Lawson is also known as "Mr. Sunset Burgundy, The Platinum Hook Killa."  Lenny Blocko's inspiring voice has been heard on hit records, by THE SOUL SEEKERS and Marvin Winans, "IT'S ALL GOD," alternating lead voals with Teddy Cambell, on "Come On Jesus," "Hang On" and John Legend's "I Can Change." Sir Lawson's voice, has also been an integral part of hip hop hits, like Missy Elliot's, "Shake Your Pom Pom," "21 Questions" with 50 Cent and Nate Dogg, "HFM2" by Lloyd Banks, and Chef Raekwon's "Rock N Roll."
