A Day in the Life - is the first chapter of a dedicated series fully curated by Steve Bicknell for KR3. 

This bold new work by the veteran English artist provides an insight into the mind of the artist. 

Side A features three tracks by The Evader, another face of Steve Bicknell. An obscure intro leads us straight to the point: 4/4 sounds, repetitive and hypnotic, not afraid to be heavy. In fact, that's the point: to take everything that is a burden to us and embrace it. After all, there can be no light without darkness. 

On Side B, Steve Bicknell has a killer approach. A parallel rail to Side A, with a more furious, still gloomy approach. He moves in the same direction but vents different emotions. The sound is harder, rawer, faster and more impetuous. 
An outro ends the EP, as if to represent a circle closing: The first lap inside A day in the life.

Berlin's Oliver Deutschmann has gained a reputation over the last 15 years through his pure passion, diverse track selection and an unambiguous mixing ability. 
Years before he released his first EPs he had already set himself on a path that would see him DJ all over the world, eventually leading to his adopted home of Berghain where he has lit up both rooms of the club dozens of times since first playing there almost ten years ago. Deutschmann displays a distinct unwillingness to be pigeonholed in any one style, and is right at home whether he's warming things up with an understated house groove or thrashing the big rooms with his grandiose brand of techno.

Oliver Deutschmann - Tech Clubbers Podcast #215

Lau H is a Montreal based Techno DJ. Her identity could be described as hypnotic, groovy and deep.

She started her DJ journey in late 2019 and since then she has played in hidden studios and in small venues in Montreal and in the surroundings. Lau H is always striving to develop her musical skills and to push the boundaries of what Techno could be in Montreal. She is working on developing a Techno label with other local artists that will be showcasing groovy and deep music. Lau H has also developed a brand called ‘Techno & Chill’ where she hosts a series of parties in which Techno DJ’s and producers are invited to play all night long.

Medha [PVC | Leipzig, Germany]

Medha's passion for technoid music is characterised by her constant search for inspiration and new tracks, which she brings together in her mixes with a mixture of intuition and thought. Influenced by the Berlin and Leipzig club scene, especially the Institut für Zukunft, she developed her own way to express her passion. Her sound is characterised by concise basslines and rougher elements on the one hand, but also by deep and driving rhythms and repetitive sounds, creating an endless drive that always aims to make the listener dance. She has been an integral part of the PVC collective for over two years and organises events herself.

Essence and form of electronic music, @vergil-sv is one of those rare artists who, despite their young age, has mastered both. 

Over a lifetime of studies and performances in the more analogue fields of percussive music, Vergil has managed to create an intriguingly recognizable body of sound. His sharp ear for rhythms, his meticulous eye of detail, and his firm sense of aesthetics have already set him up for skyrocketing his talents across the globe.

Synth lines stripped down to their sonic bones, woven inside percussive bacchanals for the gods. Minimalistic, yet groovy. Puristic, yet not without funk. Aiming for the high, yet staying on the ground.

His vision of sound is everything you know, nothing you’d expect.

Well known Polish producer and dj based in Berlin, founder and curator of Inner Tension label– a platform where he can freely release his own productions, collaborations, and emerging artists in the scene. Founder of the Audio/Visual ambient/experimental series Why So Silent? (hosting dozens of events all around Poland, as well as Berlin, Stockholm, Seoul and others). Blazej Malinowski has been featured on some of the best labels in the ambient, deep/hypnotic techno realm with past releases on The Gods Planet, Kontrafaktum, Semantica, Silent Season and many more.

Known for his hypnotic and energetic productions and live performances he keeps a productive workflow and focuses on studio work and creating the right amount of energy.

Acid, Techno, Chicago, Electro, Breaks & Progressive has dominated most of Stephen Mahoney’s record buying life, Pascal Feos and Gataneo Parisio being early influences. 
There was also a fusion with Dublin Nightlife in the late 90’s, Francois and Eamon Doyle D1 Records had a massive impact as did sets from Surgeon, Dave Clarke, Robert Armani, Carl Craig.
Stephen all the while had been producing Eps which saw it’s first release on Coincidence Records and then started Shelter Records which saw releases from Volster, Aubrey, Lars Huismann, Flexure, Ben Gibson, Mary Velo and a remix from Lee Holman. Became one half of duo Flexure, with Jamie Behan, which saw two releases and a date at New Faces at Tresor. 
A new label is formed now entitled Delinquent Delivery which saw it’s first releases in the Autumn 2018 from Lockertmatik and Nathan Jones and Stephen Mahoney.

Born in Madrid, living somewhere in Europe, Irazu’s connection with electronic music is just a symbol of sonic expressionism of self discovery to try to know what and who he is.
Starting his contribution to music as a promoter of parties in Madrid, making music and releasing records was a necessary way to express emotions that he felt a few years later.
His first records came out in the last two years in Kastil’s label ‘’Stale’’, working with artists like Acronym, Regis, Pessimist and Kastil, ‘’Study for portrait’’ was released giving again his personal vision of techno as a mini album.
After a few more releases in Platforms like Hooded or Artificial intelligence and some remixes, Irazu released ‘’140.15 EP’’ on Kastil’s label Stale giving his most intense and dance focused tracks he ever made.
Irazu continues his constant search of new sounds and ways to explore his mind through music.
His influences comes specially from the UK west Midlands, Holland, Italy and Spain, figures like Regis, Svreca, Autechre, Oscar Mulero, Donato Dozzy, Luke Slater or Surgeon are a way to define what he believes in a sonic way.
He defines his work as ‘’A intimate space between tension and false tranquility’’
