Niki Sadeki, is the curator of Deep House Vancouver and as a DJ, she's gradually amplified a signature sound fluidly grounded in deep progressive up and downtempo ranges. What carries her sets has less to do with genre and more with isolating a mood, and building up different currents around it. Words from Niki: 
"Longer sets always mean having the opportunity to explore many different moods and styles, finding that common thread between them, and the ability to bring them all  together. Working on this mix was an absolute pleasure. I took it as the opportunity to mute the outside world for hours and to dive into the world of music - my happy place. I don't want to get super sentimental here, but making this mix was definitely a healing journey for me, and I felt I got to reconnect with a side of me which has been less present in the past year or so. I hope you enjoy going through it, as much as I did :)"

While the yellow silhouette of the golden morning sun stands out on the horizon and all life awakens, the penguin rubs his sleepy eyes and shakes its frozen plumage. He waddles slowly and deliberately, the cool water promisingly in front of him. 

After dunking his head under the surface, he feels an eerie feeling of refreshment. Quickened by this feeling, he makes his morning laps around the ice floes and waves to his comrades on the shore, who gradually start following him.

Matija is a well-travelled gentleman: From the Swiss province, where he took his first (and second) musical steps, he was drawn to the street jungle of the German capital Berlin, where he stayed for 6 years and deepened his craft. Together with his then roommate Dave Dinger, he moved around the houses and rocked clubs like Bar25 etc. with him.

And if you make it in Berlin, you take little Zurich by storm: Matija set out to conquer the Swiss scene metropolis after his return. With success: After party series in the supermarket, Hive (and other clubs) he worked for years as a night manager in the Zurich Hive Club and still continues to play in this one as a resident.

As a former night manager of Gonzo, Frieda's Büxe and Hive, he has now been on the road as a DJ for 24 years throughout Switzerland and often internationally, among others with Dave Dinger. With his sets he always provides that certain treat on the dancefloors.

When we asked Kahl & Kaemena about the concept and process behind their Wuza Wave, they summed it up nicely, "We felt like making a floating set with some House elements, to create a gentle wave for you to glide on." Landed on another planet.

Recording of my Sunday's afternoon set at Plan:et C (Gamma).

Felt surreal to arrive to this magical place after such a strange year. Big thanks goes to Kulturkosmos community for making this whole thing happen in such challenging times.

A dream come true, and I can only be thankful for all the listeners that took their time to listen and dance to this set. I am still overwhelmed, to be able to play at Fusion festival for the first time (officially). 

The whole recording is composed mostly by unreleased material of my own productions, including a few songs by my dear friend @avemsdream.

Lauschen sie den wundervollen, elektronischen Klängen und blenden sie alles, was sich um sie herum befindet, aus. Konzentrieren sie sich voll und ganz auf die aneinandergereihten Töne und lassen sie diese auf sich wirken. Sie werden merken wie es ihnen von Ton zu Ton, von Takt zu Takt besser geht. People come and go in our lives, passing through like the fading hours of a day and the fading days of a year. Nevertheless, a few came to stay, and they became a fundamental part of the constellation of facts that we call existence. A not so recent but very vital addition is Caleesi (@caleesi), who conquered our hearts through supernatural performances and by helping or connecting young minds who think alike. She has done as much essential work helping talents on their way as she played stellar sets around the globe - and for us in Berlin. We are more than happy to finally present her to you. Enjoy.
