Liquid drum & bass set - all vinyl.

This is a studio recording of my liquid drum & bass set for Boiler Room Seoul, held on July 28th, 2024. Unfortunately, due to safety issues, the event was halted, and the recording of my performance will most likely not be shared online. So, I'm throwing the studio version of it here instead - recorded in my studio on the same day before the show.

Sucowania - 사진가를 위한 믹스셋: 김유자의 《Cusp II》

음악은 특정한 순간들의 연속으로 존재하며, 각 구간에서 순간적인 변주를 따라 흐를 뿐이다. 그 구성을 단번에 파악하려는 시도는 오히려 길을 잃게 만든다. “당신이 나를 낳았고 / 당신에 대해 아는 것이 없다는 뒤늦은 깨달음이” 있는 것처럼, 사고의 흐름은 우리가 원하는 대로 특정한 순간에 고정되지 않는다. 우리는 들리는 것과 더 이상 들리지 않지만 기억 속에 남아 있는 것 사이를 오가면서, 들리는 것에 의존해 지금 순간의 음악을 따라갈 수밖에 없다. 김유자의 작업이 걷듯이 보는 태도를 통해 이미지 곁의 움직임을 포섭했다면, 음악 또한 걷는 것처럼 흘러간다.
