Witchdoctor is an emerging new talent on the UKG and Bass Music scene. Operating out of London, the DJ & Producer has been steadily carving a name out for himself in both genres, most recently with his wicked debut release on Hausmade.

Downplay is proud to present ‘6AM, the sophomore EP from London producer Witchdoctor.

‘Champagne’ kicks off proceedings with a fully feel-good vibe, staccato rhythms and good-time melodies mixing it up before the groove steps in properly. Sugar-sweet basslines and chopped vocals intersperse the track for a little ray of UKG sunshine that will put a smile on any raver’s face.

Title track ‘6AM’ takes another path entirely, with a low-slung 4X4 rhythm guiding the beat across chord washes and a rolling bassline that gives the production a full-on warehouse bumpy bubbler taste that’ll have the floor full in no time.

‘Wot U R’ mixes the best elements of both proceeding tracks into a perfect UKG concoction, saccharine melodies inter-playing tough beats to mesmerizing effect.
