Timeless Moment is proud to present brand new remixes for Morttagua's classic "the 8th Sense" from renowned American progressive master Darin Epsilon and German rising star Modeplex.

Morttagua released "The 8th Sense "previously in 2018, alongside the lone remix from legendary Robert Babicz. The original is also re-released on this package with a brand new mixdown work from Morttagua re-mastered by SM Mastering.

Darin Epsilon takes the 'trancier' original into a more melodic techno journey, using a fat moog style bassline to set the mood while incorporating a complex and groovy percussion work. Darin's remix is a true piece of art, keeping almost intact the main melodies from "The 8th Sense" but at the same time giving a fresher feel to its timeless harmony.

Modeplex remake of "The 8th Sense" takes a complete 180 degree turn from the original, using some melodic elements of the track but changing completely the atmosphere mood. The German turned 8"Th Sense" into a dark hypnotic dance floor techno bomb, with a powerful bassline and brand new melodic synth riffs, simply timeless!

'From the Middle East to Central America and Russia, a trio of artists blend their talents. Out of the darkness and into the light, Golan Zocher, Gux Jimenez and Mango build a stratified sonic masterpiece from “Only a Shadow”. Subtle organic layers amble through a forest of percussive saplings that sit beneath a towering beat and subterranean groove. Emerging in the dappled moonlit shadows, evocative motifs create an eerie atmosphere before a bassline force springs from the undergrowth and into the open, prowling beneath luscious melody.

Harnessing familiar energies from the darkness, Dowden hypnotises with a new poise and grace. “Only a Shadow” forms in the twilight as white noise crashes in pulsating waves. A mesmerising bassline hits the Toronto streets where it forges a path through pinpricks of melodic light and a seething, rolling rhythmic groove. A pioneering sonic architecture is forged from exquisite St Petersburg and Sao Paulo landscapes. 'Audiovisual artist mïus will be releasing his new, full-length album, Abstrakt, on digital platforms and vinyl on the 2nd of June via Théque Records. On the project, fans will discover the modulating song ‘Clappp’, a mercurial lifeform that awakens with each pulse of the kick. The song appears beside the already released singles ‘Last Time Ft. Raf Skowroński’, ‘Feather ft. Amme’, and ‘Slow Burn’ ft. HALOSARA. Further, mïus and Attaray Visual will be showcasing their audio-visual show naked waves later this year.

Gaining momentum in the press, mïus’ music has been supported by noteworthy industry publications Mixmag UK, CLASH Magazine, Faze Mag, DJ Mag Spain, Noisey Germany, Recorder.hu, FLUX Music and 6AM. Touching on aspects of Jamie xx, Jon Hopkins, Ben Böhmer, and even Moderat, ‘Clappp’ is a fitting title for a track bursting with echoing and expansive synths, unrelenting oscillations, and, most importantly, ricochetting claps that drive its energy to soaring heights. mïus elaborates on the LP’s central theme: “The main concept of the album was to use multiple samples and found sounds, fused with recorded analog synths, to create a new, singular analog-digital synth sound. Thus, we get abstractions from these sounds in a completely new, interesting synthesizer sound design. The title refers to this method.”'

A career that continues to expand at exponential rate on a stratospheric trajectory, Dutch pairing, Paul Deetman and Jelle Jansen, continue to astound through their Huminal production moniker. As the duo return, once more, to Proton Music, we are extremely proud to bear witness to a further musical evolution with the exceptional, "We Dwell in the Past" EP.

A carefully constructed career path that began with victory in a Dutch national radio DJ contest and grew with invitations to play at large scale techno events in the Amsterdam capital, the Huminal name exploded onto the techno scene via 2011's Amsterdam Dance Event and further triumph in the "Demolition" production contest. Judged by no lesser lights than Marc Romboy and RandS Records head, Renaat Vendepapeliere, "Greeksomnia" went on to spearhead a debut three-track EP for the ever-relevant, FutureForm imprint.

With further DJ appearances across Amsterdam and mainland Europe including a residency at "Electronation" and performances at Brussels' "Groove City Festival", a host of impressive production material has seen the Huminal express train continue to gather pace at lightning rate. Renowned for a distinctive melodic techno styling, original and remix work has garnered a rapidly expanding fan base and blue chip peer support from the likes of Nick Warren, John Digweed and Hernan Cattaneo.

Regulars on the Visceral compilation series, original work Lowbit (and the FutureForm debut) has been supplemented by a host of remixes for Mango Alley, Clinique and Yang. Furthermore, a dozen production credits for Particles including the "Acrophobia" and "Pocket Universe" EPs, paved the way for the 2015 "Knocking on the Sky" debut original EP for Proton Music, bookended by remixes for Nikko.Z and Mondkrater.

Returning to Proton Music with another original EP, "We Dwell in the Past" lights up the melodic techno genre. The title track itself charts a subtle creative shift while retaining the unique Huminal character. A complex and intricate percussive bed crackles and clicks with purpose, each component carefully playing its own part in a glorious harmonic symphony. Evolving with an emotive lead line that growls and expands through open filtered wonder, the track's grandeur is fully displayed post-breakdown in a maelstrom of melodic counterpoint, pounding beat and rich texture.

Partner track, "Jester's Disease", continues the strong pounding beat of its predecessor as subterranean bass throbs across the lower frequency range. A delicious gleaming riff wanders across the track providing a strong melodic narrative that opens up in full view post-breakdown; the resultant affect achieving a stunning hypnotic work that is certain to fire synapses and audio receptors in an infectious wave through its dance floor prowess.

Two new tracks from Huminal see them fully forward looking as "We Dwell in the Past".

'Faraday' is full of drama, rising and falling with precision, utilising strings synths and a slick groove to draw listeners and dancers into a deeply atmospheric world.

Similarly, 'Semaphore' offers up beautifully crafted arpeggiated melodies, interwoven to create lush, dreamy house music with a hint of wonkiness for the heads.
