Cologne’s Motip White is back on When We Dip XYZ with ‘The Infinite Edge’ EP, a two-tracker which showcases Motip’s songwriting prowess coupled with his signature raw, grimy sound.

On the title track, ‘The Infinite Edge’ the twists and turns of the bass progression make way for the celestial melodies and gritty drums. The hopeful harmony and upbeat vocals contrasts with White’s lyrics speaking of losing his mind in an ever-confusing world which keeps on moving faster and faster. 

On ‘Straight To The Sun’, the saturated combo of vocals and guitar lead the way. The raspy bassline and the triplet kicks interact with the hats and shakers invigorating the groove. White’s hummed vocals in the break lighten the mood, pulling hips and ears straight to the Springtime sun.
