Long-time Berlin underground mainstay Michael Vater aka Phonique, makes his debut on the label Kindisch in form of his Petra EP. For the 4-track release he teamed up with the duo Fairlpay, that made appearances on labels like Bar 25 Music and Stil For Talent.

Pedro is an important figure in both the thriving Sao Paulo electronic scene, as well as the quintessential dance community in the Catalonian mecca. Capelossi has launched onto the international scene with a production style rooted in jazz-driven melodic house. After vibrant projects on the likes of Seven Villas and Dream Culture, we’re thrilled to have him back on TOR for his second EP on the imprint.

Closing out the trio is Groundless. Solemn tones set a melancholic mood, while the enveloping bassline widens with every phrase. Capelossi eases us into the night with a blissful track for the moments when all we need is a light groove.

We rarely do Premiere's anymore, as the market for it is so saturated that we decided to stay away from it mostly. But sometimes our friends from the underground community serve us some wonderful, moody music we love to support. As we premiered the first collaboration between NODO and Canopy Sounds, we return for their second ride together and are happy to present you "Eniwetok".

"Enitewok" is one of the new tracks from the forthcoming EP by NODO, a young producer signed on the Canopy Sounds label. It's a slow steady builder replete with precise drum programming, subtle melodic touches, and world music influences and the type of track you'd wanna hear deep in the forest, while sunlight pokes through the trees and everyone is dancing in unison.

Nodo's "Kintsugi" EP releases on Canopy Sounds and will be out exclusively on Beatport July 14th, with a world-wide release on July 28th.

House, in its classic form, constructs the backbone for the A-side. A NYC-esque drum arrangement sets the stage for more modern touches, with delicate horns and a pulsing bassline bringing immense character; a feel good tune to the core, and a welcome reminder of the simple joys of house music.

Easing us into the conclusion, Miles collects more somber tones. A percussive rhythm meets elongated pads, with a melancholic bassline floating along. It’s the summary of a delightful and cohesive EP, capturing the best of electronic sounds both new and old.

With a producer career that spans almost a decade, Pedro Capelossi has quickly emerged from Spain's avant-garde electronic music landscape.

The Brazilian born - Spaniard naturalized, Barcelona based artist has forged a distinctive sound which focuses on inventive use of atmosphere and rhythm, drawing the lines between global dance cultures without adhering to any fixed formula.

In 2023 he founded his own musical imprint REFRACTION RECORDS, representing some of the world’s most avant-garde visual artists, designers and musicians. Blurring the boundaries between house, techno and its closely related derivatives, REFRACTION operates with an inherent understanding of the principles set out by electronic music’s greatest innovators.

Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas has been a primary vehicle for Pedro's far-reaching work, with additional projects via Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Madloch’s Sound Avenue among other specialized labels such as Loot Recordings, TOR (When We Dip) and Hoomidas Records highlighting his resume.

Over the years Pedro's tracks have counted on support from recognizable names such as Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Eelke Kleijn, Pablo Bolívar, Armen Miran, Matt Darrey and Airwave just to name a few.

DJing for over a decade now, in his hometown Barcelona Pedro played in some of the best parties and clubs such as PACHA, NOM Barcelona, Cafe Del Mar, City Hall, Macarena, Valhalla etc. alongside names such as Sebastien Leger, Eelke Kleijn, Cid Inc, Fur Coat and many more.

On his home turf of São Paulo he was responsible for important nightlife projects such as UNIK ID, hosting artists like Nick Warren and Cid Inc, as well as the PROGRESSION nights held at one of the most important clubs in Brazil - D.EDGE, supporting world-renowned guest artists all year round.

Pedro's DJ performances focus on underground electronic music, especially dub house and dub techno, deep house, minimal and downtempo. His versatility to move between different styles depending on audience and event, allows him to perform club gigs same as festivals.
