Lucefora, hailing from Argentina, partners with the UK’s Steve Kelley on Silk. With All Day I Dream and Souksonic under their respective belts, Lucefora and Mr. Kelley continue to impress with their first project on TOR. Melodies collide with a sturdy groove, as percussion and strings bring immense musicality to a rhythmic number. An elongated bridge christens magical dancefloor moments, a summer tune at its core.

TÂCHES needs no introduction to the XYZ faithful. He’s one of the best remixers in the game, and we think we have one of his finest ever works on hand with his take on Parlante. Harnessing the psychedelic nature of the original’s tripped out chops, he brings his own touch of  vocal delight while adding a simply irresistible groove to form the backbone of a magical tune. It has everything - danceabliity, indie instrumentalism, a boastful bassline, and signature hooks.

Through work with the likes of Maya Jane Coles and Atjazz, the Londoner has built a sterling reputation with releases on Get Physical, Einmusika, Anjunadeep, and Tale & Tone. For his inaugural EP with the TOR imprint - Never Knew - he continues to purvey his exquisite brand of deep house. 

Chasing Ghosts elevates the energy with a sturdy house backbone. The timeless character oozes as playful synths and a revolving bassline enlist the need for a two-step. Rashid lets his production prowess do the talking here, allowing the instrumental arrangement to stir us into a deep groove.

It’s a journey we’ve seen first hand at XYZ, as the Argentine maestro has developed into a pillar of the imprint in recent years through his two EPs and numerous remix projects.

As the world looks towards a period of rejuvenation, with dancefloors taking on new levels of satisfaction after an extended silence, Mosso is back on XYZ to provide the seasoned instrumentalism that will keep us grooving through the summer. The Dreamsco EP is here!

To close out the project, Drifters forms the middle ground between its predecessors. Delightful drums take us back to the house heyday, while new-age melodies provide a modern feel as the track develops. As they continue to dive deeper into the collaborative territories, we are thrilled to unveil their first EP together - Bodhiss.

Edna is thoughtfully placed at the core of the EP, forming the perfect summary of Lucefora & Kelley debut EP together. SDK launched onto the scene earlier this year with the release of their first project - What They Want. With a sumptuous blend of heady melodies and signature vocal hooks, the Vancouver-based duo’s debut on TOR rested perfectly at the centerpoint of underground and familiar. As we step into winter’s grasp, we’ve revisited the project with a revamped touch from two of the scene’s finest; we present What They Want (The Remixes).

Armen Miran is a vital pillar of the deep & melodic scene. With his distinct blend of organic folk tones atop powerful electronica, he’s the godfather of Armenian deep house. Through releases on his own imprint Hoomidas, he’s inspired so many modern producers. We enamoured to welcome him to XYZ, as he whisks What They Want in classic style. Playful house drums get us moving, while ominous synthetics envelop the groove. The vocal chops ebb too and fro throughout the arrangement, with big dancefloor moment’s a-plenty within this Armen masterclass.

Argentina’s invigorating pairing of Nacho Varela & Cruz Vittor has proven illustrious in recent times. They’ve been producing some of the most vivacious & sought-after remixes and edits on the planet, alongside original material on Anjunadeep and Shanti Moscow Radio. The duo comes through again as they twist What They Want to fit their scintillating sound. Swirling melodics stir us into the groove, as a punchy bassline ignites the vibe. A luscious build takes things to another level, offering yet another Nacho & Cruz weapon for the DJs amongst us.

Producers are the backbone of any label; developing supportive and genuine relationships with our artists is the core principle of XYZ's development. Our Oppo series is an ode to the figures that we feel are at the foundation of the label's journey thus far.

Emotional Tourist has cemented himself as a pillar of XYZ’s artistic direction over the last two years. The Romanian first caught the ear via an rhythmically groovy remix of DSF, and last year’s The Day The World Meets You showcased the Emotional Tourist sound in its finest forms.

Oppo gives full creative control to the producer, who essentially functions as the label head on the project. Curating sounds from artists around the world who've influenced his journey thus far, as well as a pristine production of his own, Emotional Tourist presents a project that fully represents his tastes as an artist.

Emotional Tourist sets the standard on the A1 with Alchimie De L’Univers. A warm & housey bassline meets swirling percussions in the early stages, as a breakbeat carries the groove into undeniably heady territory and Ondin’s wistful vocal work brings a franco-edge to the break.

Greece’s DSF is at the forefront of a surging wave of modern deep house producers, blending sounds from across the international electronic spectrum. His funk-laden Fraoula EP showcased his knack for the unexpected, and we welcome him back on remix duty as he takes on the A-side. Fall In Time harnesses the original trio’s incredible brand of vocal melodic house, as Margret’s soaring chops meet DSF’s dreamy take on the melodics on this sublime cut.

Erdi Irmak is simply one of the most eclectic producers in the modern deep & melodic scene. The Turk has carved his own path, releasing sensational cross-cultural sounds on the likes of Tale & Tone, Amulanga, and Hoomidas. The XYZ faithful will have grown fond of Erdi’s work on the imprint thus far, appearing on each of our Oppo projects and presenting a delightful remix of a label classic - Same Light. The Istanbul-bred producer now arrives in full, crafting his first full-fledged EP on XYZ in the form of Driftwood.

In many ways, Amega is the voice of XYZ. She collaborates with Erdi on the project’s A-side, offering her instantly recognizable vocals on I Can Find. A rich percussive groove sets the vibe, as Amega’s performance summons hopeful prose lush with light; a valiant tone to start the year. Melodic mastery by both artists, who come together for the first time in pristine fashion. 

Driftwood lifts the pace, shifting into dancefloor mode with a warm bassline and synthetic cuts entering the fore. Energy ebbs & flows on this heady hitter from Erdi, showcasing his immense range as a producer. Eastern instrumentals maintain an organic opulence, while the house kicks pause only momentarily to create a powerful rise. An essential tool for the selectors.

Closing out the project is Rainflow, a boastfully balanced groover for both mind & body. The underbelly is built upon an ominous low-end, maintaining a driven arrangement for the dancers. Immaculate instrumentalism rises to a higher plane, and a soft vocal cut exalts exhalation. A special cut from one of the best.

Indie electronic duo @hokimusic have set about making 2020 their own. Following the release of the captivating "King Of Hearts" EP, Varti Deuchoghlian and Brent McCormick have no intention of slowing down. Their soothing sounds present a desired affront to the challenges of recent times.

"Memories Of Love" is a stirring moment of music, that touches on fleeting recollections and their empowering capabilities. McCormick’s hypnotizing vocals float on a ravishingly beautiful ensemble of melody and atmosphere.
