XYZ Selectors

Fernando Esteche alias Frlöck, was born in Campana, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.  He is currently a resident DJ for UNDEROOM SELECTIONS.

His passion for electronic music begins at an early age with Daft Punk and his mother's musical influences that marked the 80s in Argentina.
In 2016 he began his first steps through Beat Sessions (Event Producer). He is influenced by great artists of the Progressive House, Deep House and Organic House genres such as: Hernan Cattaneo, Bedouin, Guy Gerber, Armen Miran, Guy J, Lee Burridge, Lost Desert, Facundo Mohrr, Valdovinos, Amadori, GHIZ and Maxi Degrassi.
His mixes are characterized by fusing sounds from different cultures of the world and nature, without losing the characteristic groove of his favorite genres. It is in music where he found his vocation and where that search would mark his north for the rest of his life. Frlöck is a great lover of music that transmits life stories and strong emotions.

He has participated in international radio stations in countries such as: UK, Russia, Spain, Germany, Uruguay, Dubai, Belgium and Hungary. His latest radio show was released through the prestigious RYNTH label, ranking at # 18 of the top 100 on Proton Radio.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that he had his first release through Fluglab Records (Lisandro AR's imprint). His track Oblivion (original mix)was part of the best of 2019 on Fluglab. Old SQL Recondings, 3rd Avenue (WATF Vol. II 2020, Chart Top 100 Progressive and Organic House, # 33 - # 40) and AH Digital coming soon.

@christianvoldstad acquired his love of electronic while growing up in the UK. It wasn’t until he moved to New York, however, that he would attend his first underground party and find the sound that would capture him and inspire him to step behind the decks himself. Since then, Christian has become a staple of the underground scene, a party enthusiast, and an avid techno tourist.
After some time as a free agent, Christian’s sophisticated taste in music earned him a residency for Bespoke Musik where he has entranced audiences with thoughtful, layered DJ sets. His music blends a focus on the low-end frequencies with a melodic, sometimes melancholic touch. The end result is just as suited to a nightclub dancefloor as a desert sunset, with enough versatility for everything in between.
Some of his notable bookings include Gazgolder and Leveldva in Moscow, Café D’ Anvers in Antwerp, Sisyphos in Berlin, Output and Cityfox in Brooklyn, Do Not Sit on the Furniture and The Electric Pickle in Miami, and Robot Heart and the 747 at Burning Man. With the upcoming creation of Bespoke Musik’s record label in early 2021, expect to hear Christian’s first original productions, as well as a preview of his upcoming music project.

Erdi Irmak is no stranger to the scene, and an established purveryover of touching productions on the likes of Tale & Tone and Hoomidas. As a firm figure amongst the top tier of up-and-coming deep house producers, we are thrilled to have Erdi launch our Selectors series.

The Turk offered his interpretations on the recent Same Light EP, finding the perfect middle ground for the release on his XYZ debut. He pays homage to the original’s understated moments, while placing weight on the groove to give the remix immense dance-ability.

Madraas, a revamped moniker for a longtime partnership, snatched attention with their Vires EP on TOR. The collaborative project with VieL was brimming with crispy grooves and haunting basslines. In fact, rumor has it Hosini is close to unveiling a unique project in the coming months...

Emotional Tourist has been firmly in the crosshairs of our scope for some time now, as someone we think is making some of the best deep and melodic sounds around. The Bucharest-bred boy has stepped onto the scene this summer with a supreme EP on Kindisch. With a distinct knack for reworks and edits, his recently released revamp of Sade has been on repeat all week, and we're happy to hear more from him on the latest Selectors.

He's enjoying a stellar couple of months; unveiling a a glorious single on All Day I Dream, as well as gracing this year's Blanche with the groovy Magenta, a collaboration he put together with his good mate Wassu. This week, he checks off another career milestone with his debut on Anjunadeep. It's safe to say all eyes are on David as we dive into the new year, and there is nobody more deserving.
