XYZ and When We Dip present the Selectors series, where we give our family of producers an opportunity to display their prowess behind the decks. Expect unreleased material from across the label collective, as well as classic gems and heady grooves from some of the undergrounds finest heads.

We head to France, by way of Amsterdam, for the latest edition of Selectors. Margee certainly caught many-a-ear with his debut appearance on TOR - the sumptuous Plantalk EP. His mastery of low-slung groove and heady hooks makes for thoroughly enjoyable listening, and those same attributes prove a mainstay in his deck-work as well. Our Romanian friend has established himself as one of quickly rising names in the deep, melodic/progressive scene. Aiming at developing and fostering community around groovy and melancholic vibes he founded Deep House Bucharest, a home for quality deep house music. Bross keeps the dancefloor satisfied with his commitment to the groove, which has led to major appearances alongside Lost Desert, Lee Burridge and Mihai Popoviciu. His studio sound ranges from delicate and dreamy, to more groovy, afrobeat and whimsical house sounds. His most recent project "Miragviglia EP" will be releasing on Magician On Duty in September. We’re excited to share this smooth discovery with you: Alex Hövelmann’s Tequila Sunset is silk for your ears as we need it to get through this Monday morning.

Alex Hövelmann, a producer, DJ an live act out of Cologne (Germany), started to the play the drums at the young age of four years. Today, his tracks get to be played by the likes of Acid Pauli at the famous festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. 

Inspired by the music of Christian Löffler, Kollektiv Turmstrasse or Olaf Arnalds, Alex Hövelmann’s music let’s you dream and dance at the same time: spheric, melancholic and dynamic sounds that are sometimes driving, sometimes soothing. 

Alex got our first attention thanks to his wonderful Interpretation of Christian Löffler’s “Haul” a few months back. His most recent productions have been released on Heidentoc Rec, Eisenwaren and trndmsk. 

Besides producing music, Alex organizes events such as the Garten Eden Festival in his hometown Cologne. 

Is is with great pleasure we host this up-and-coming talent on our channel. Have a sip and get addicted to Alex Hövelmann’s sensational Tequila Sunset!

Tom & Laszlo met in the UK, became mates, and together they formed Monofade in 2013.

They started creating music just for fun when they realized it is going easily and smoothly together. By the end of their first production, they became obsessed, from there was no stopping. They have more than 40 releases now on worldwide record labels like HMWL Records, King Street Sounds, The Purr, A Must Have, Soleid, Progrezo, Cenital Music, Capital Heaven, Spring Tube, etc.

From 2016 as a DJ duo they had several gigs in Hungary. Their audiences always expect a uniques storytelling where they bridging the gap between deep and melodic house, tech house and electronica.
