Pete Herbert drops the second release on Paradise Row - the imprint he and Dicky Trisco set up to release their own output. 
Mango Moon is a very Herbertesque number pumped full of musical influences from House to Italo to Disco, but with an eagle eye at all times on driving the dance floor really wild. Pedro demonstrates his years of experience as both a producer and a DJ in a track that captures so much of the territory he has covered in both guises over the years. With its pumping live disco underbelly, its melodic Italo-style keys riding on top and its rock solid drums, it really is a very classy production by a DJ producer who knows where he wants to go and how to get us all there at the same time.
Meanwhile on the flip, his label and DJ compadre Dicky Trisco flips the track in a live disco direction with an epic take of his own that throws more than a few surprises into the mix. Dicky teases the dancefloor with a long build up but just wait until those wicked keys by Faze Action’s Robin Lee drop in.  Quality stuff.

Just a few weeks ago, the Bolting Bits team was quite proud in sharing a brand, new original from our very own - Igor Bezuglov. However, Igor is not the only member who has been producing as of late. In fact, our very own Martin Miguel is set to come out with his first original later this week!

Mainly known for his work as the head honcho at Better Listen Records, Martín has decided to collaborate with one of his closest friends and label artists Ari Bald to deliver a fresh little ditty titled "Every Body Party" on New York City imprint Kaviar Disco Club. This track will be featured alongside other rising producers such as Jevantte, Tilman, and Higgins to round out the second release from the young label.

Much like the music Martín promotes on his own label and DJ sets, "Every Body Party" is an all-out, daytime disco affair that relies on an assortment of rich horns, guitar licks, and dancefloor percussion to create a vibe that's easy-going and pleasing to the ear. Although the occasion for summertime disco is certainly waning in the Northern Hemisphere, expect this one to be played wherever there are cocktails in-hand and good times to be had.

I was lucky enough to be asked by @cree-records to dig into their  "Trinidad" catalog & propose an edit of my choice. I decide to go for that banger which is ZODIAC (feat D. Plummer) "I Believe". 

It will be featured on a 12" on CREE RECORDS to be released on November 29th, along with other remixes / edits from Nomad @nomad-one, Jus Now & Al Kent @milliondollardisco !

We are quite familiar with the classic disco anthem "Can't Fake The Feeling" by Geraldine Hunt, from her LP "No Way", released on New York label Prisme in 1980. 

From the same album, "Glad I'm In Love Again" has been a long time favorite, with its uplifting chorus, strings progression and pure love vibe.

Here is his rework to which I added my YP touch, additional drums and percs, a friendly edit, and a tight mastering. 

Crafted for the disco, this rework is a must have.

Montenegro-based groove lord Mitiki is in a celebratory mood on his latest Disco Fruit re-edit outing. He gleefully skips between the beefed-up Spanish language disco cheeriness of "Celebremas" - a rework of a cover of Kool & The Gang's "Celebrate" - and the Clavinet-happy disco-funk muscularity of K.I.D tweak "Do It Again", before charging towards disco-house dancefloors via the beefed-up sweetness of "Love Somebody Today". The pie-eyed, smiling fun continues via the delicious disco-funk party vibes of "Ohio" and closing cut "To The Top", a chunky, horn-toting revision of another sing-along disco workout.

Direct Connect Shun "He's No Good" records have been destroyed in a flood, and the few copies which have sold on the Internet reach the 3 figures price tags for example. Also, the album is proud to introduce to a wider audience some lesser-known but exceptional recordings such as Janice "Nikki" Harrison's "Magic Of Love" which is taken from a Broadway musical produced & composed by Ted Wortham - who also composed for Philadelphia International Recordings artists such as Teddy Pendergrass, Anthony White or Jean Carn.

Message In Our Music Volume 2 has been fully remastered, and features interview-based liner notes, along with never seen before pictures of the artists selected.
