"Hello there! 
When I started compiling this mix, I thought ‘Wouldn’t it be great if only I could play this music in the forest.’ I had the kind of a ‘melodic’ mood that evening, and I hope you won't judge me for that  . I started with an ambient work by Seraphim Rytm, followed by an unreleased track by our Ukrainian duo Woo York from their upcoming EP on Semantica. Next after that is the tune by F.U.S.E. (early Richie Hawtin's alias), released in 1993. After that follows another unreleased work, its identity not to be revealed at this point. Then you’ll find a track by Steven Tang and one more brilliant work delivered to us by Sandwell District (Function’s Version of ‘Immolare’, to be precise). Then it is ‘Aurora’ — one of my favourite tracks from a friend and another fellow Ukrainian Etapp Kyle, who is based in Berlin right now. Following that are tunes from Ness, Marcus Henriksson and my secret weapon, an old school techno-trance classic from 1992. Finishing the mix are tracks by Silent Servant and SSTROM, last one also representing Semantica.

As the name suggests, 'Fire Burning When We Are' is a lusty, slow-burning track that unfolds into a soundscape journey across a pattering house line. "We got to the studio after a long tour and you can really hear that we were inspired by our travels, watching the world from the planes and cars," the Polish duo explain about the creative thought behind the EP. "Lots of analog synths, 909 drums and analog bass. It's very emotional and powerful." Out on May 22 on Watergate Records.

There was a RiteTrax festival on at the Bolehills during the day and when that finished the hordes descended on the Hallamshire making it one of the busiest yet. Born in eastern Poland, rraph treads the dark, deep soundscapes of techno. Since his debut release in 2013 on Translucent, he has count many others on the likes of Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Counter Pulse, Subraum and of course his base, Gynoid Audio. Associated with the project since its launch, rraph contributes as an A&R and also immensely as an artist signing acclaimed work such as the Eseries EP which includes a Kwartz Remix or the Syndykat EP. He has also been quite proliﬁc in providing remixes as well as tracks for various compilations. During the past years rraph has performed both live and as a DJ in renowned clubs around Europe such as Tresor, IPSE and Arena in Berlin, Corsica Studios in London or Le Batofar in Paris, Uebel & Gefährlich in Hamburg. Since 2015 rraph has been a member of Warsaw-based Behind the Stage collective and is also a co-creator of träume, an event series taking place in his hometown of Lublin.

Raroh is an artist focused on deep, foggy and also hard side of techno mixed with ambient and experimental electronic music. Under the influence of Warsaw's local parties, at a young age he began to discover new electronic rhythms and sounds, what resulted in his productions.

December last year he released his first 12'' vinyl split record with Głós on Unknown Timeline Records called "The Perfect Moment In Time-Space Continuum". He also contributed to the One Instrument series with a dark ambient track, which was digitally released last year.

Two month ago his two tracks appeared on "The Book Of Electronic Music" - tape release on Delayed Arrivals Records.
