「 Au5 Blossom — HYPERTRANCE REMIX 」

This track comes from Hyper Sports 3, another MSX exclusive game by Konami. It's originally very short, so I looped it three times. This arrangement is based on the later SCC version, not the original PSG one, and uses the Konami VRCVII (also known as VRC7) sound chip for extra FM goodness.

Terra Cresta, originally released by Nichibutsu in 1985, received a sequel last year, called Sol Cresta. I thought it was time to finally make a Terra Cresta arrangement. Inspired by the YM3526 (OPL) arcade version, I used the Konami VRCVI (also known as VRC6) sound chip for this arrangement.

Continuing our partnership with Treasure, we are honoured to release the score from their legendary shooter, IKARUGA, for the first time on any format. 

Unlike its spiritual predecessor, RADIANT SILVERGUN, the music of IKARUGA is intense, compact and relentless in its focused energy. Steeped in dramatic tension and propelled by frenetic synths, this sublime score, composed by Hiroshi Iuchi (who also directed the game) perfectly encapsulates the meticulous design and demanding nature of this most revered of shooters.

IKARUGA is presented as a 180g vinyl LP, carefully remastered and packed into a heavyweight matt laminated sleeve. It is accompanied by four lithographic prints of beautiful illustrations by Yasushi Suzuki and an obi strip. Available in the following editions:
