WZRD Takeovers [ guest mixes ]

Desde el Sudoeste de Londres arriba @dj-darkstepper ; DJ, creativa, productora de fiestas y presentadora de radio, que ha temprana edad desenvolvió su entusiasmo por la música; el cual se fue expandiendo hasta llevarla en 2010 a ocuparse en su totalidad en los sonidos más sombríos y graves del Reino Unido, así como a pulir su técnica y sus habilidades como DJ. Expandiendo y diversificando su estilo a formado parte de las noches más excéntricas; ahondando y profundizando en la cultura underground de Londres la cual la llevo a ser co-fundadora en 2014 de ´The Pit London´, plataforma para artistas emergentes con el objetivo proporcionar el reconocimiento que merecen por medio de noches curadas con eclécticos line ups, con el propósito de la exposición y de celebrar un lado de la amplia gama de géneros.
Con frecuentes apariciones en Reprezent Radio, donde transmite su show ´Bedroom Frequencies´, el cual simula la experiencia de adentrarse en soledad con música sensual, relajante, jazz, psicodélica, pop, soft electrónica, etc. Darkstepper es una selectora con una amplia banda sonora; dejando señales en BBC Sound, BBC 1Xtra, Boiler Room x SYSTEM, profunda y puntual al momento de seleccionar temas, experimentando con la música club integrando, rap, soulful, garage y demás sonidos del UK.
Para nuestro audio número catorce nos cocinó 60 ilustres minutos llenos de dinamismo y fortaleza, que decretan su refinado e innovador estilo a la hora de mezclar. Emprendiendo el viaje sónico con house, cortes percusivos, vogue, ballroom, su inclinación por edits y mashups de R&B y hip hop, clásicos de la escena dance, señales de drill, uk funky y la más clásica y fina música club; rematando de forma aguda con juke y jungle.

In Japan "Nitchibotsu" translates to Sunset, which is the title of Chapter III's body of work. A Deep House journey featuring the iconic sounds of the Roland D-50, Korg M1 & Jays personal fav, the Shakuhachi Flute of Japan. "I would be remiss if i didn't say the likes of Soshi Takeda didn't inspire this track for me, having street dance be a huge background for me, this track was crafted for the House Dancers around the world, specifically those from Japan." Nitchibotsu takes on an almost ethereal sound from complex key patterns, blissful DX7 keys, classic Roland 909 4/4 that Jay is so known for curating. Truly a track you won't wanna listen to once, another Sundown dance floor hit.
