To celebrate the release of 'Riser', his 4th Moom EP, MIDGE has something special for us - a 100 minute live dj mix, recorded at a secret location in Ibiza in Spring 2025, just as the island is warming back up. 

Featuring stunning new house music from the incredible Stefan Braatz (who has an EP coming on Moom v v soon!), Calabasa, The Smiths, The Stereo MC's, Toucanplan and Steve Bug.

Including 4 x MIDGE tracks - 'For the Lovers' from his new 'Riser' EP, 'This' off his 'New Waves' EP from last year, and 2 unreleased jams, 'Elephant' and 'Breathe' - plus an EXCLUSIVE preview of MIDGE's new remix of Marshall Jefferson & Noosa Heads classic 'Mushrooms' which is getting a vinyl release on Airtight Records v soon.

The lyric and vibe of this number made me think of resemblance between Nero and Donald, both orange and mad, both stiring the pot all the time. NYC is some kind of contemporary Rome, so my Future Garage vibe inclinations matched like a puzzle. Hope you see it too.

I have re subscribed for another year due to followers asking me to come back. I hope you enjoy my mixes! 

I first started DJ'ing in 1978 when my friends made a "disco deck" from homemade components, I then bought the "Citronics" mixers,  amp and speakers off them and rebuilt it into something awesome!

I then did local clubs and pubs and was known as

"Apple Whites Funk Show"  

Had some real fond memories way back then, met some really nice people too and not so nice, including those that stole from me,  i had a lot of 12" records stolen from one gig :/

I then stopped doing clubs etc and went on to only pre order parties etc, as time was getting less and less for me.

I now do DJ'ing for pleasure only, for me and you, hence why a "like" is all so important to me, it keeps me going and mixing the music we all love and know so well and to listen to those we don't.

I hope you enjoy the mixes i do and perhaps, maybe follow to show your appreciation in my work.

I  try and cater for all tastes, as i have a very wide and varied taste myself, but the 80's and Trance/drum & bass are my favs :)
