better known as Reka, has blown up on the world stage since beginning out as a DJ more than 10 years ago. Since then, she’s become a long time resident at Tresor, embarked on a career as a producer ( her debut EP, Diving the Innermost came out on Phase Fatal’s BITE in 2018) and made the jump to Berghain. But there’s more to Mendez than being a connoisseur of all genres dark and hard-edged. In addition to being a DJ, Mendez is an entrepreneur and a science enthusiast. KEYI sat down to talk with her about her world before techno and the ways in which research and precision define her creative work and her extra musical life.

Back in 2019, he fulfilled a personal dream by starting his own independent cassette label, Crave Tapes. The inspiration he draws from 80's underground electronic music and the goth culture, is manifested in his exorbitant, dynamic, and excessive style - a wild mixture between EBM, Industrial, New Beat, Synthwave, Post-Punk and some Techno.

Years of Denial will have their debut Asia live tour this coming June, with our 5 year anniversary party at @mihnclub Hong Kong as their first stop in Asia, followed by additional stops at Volnost Seoul, Loopy Hangzhou, and Elevator Shanghai. Their fresh new album on Veyl Records, Sucide Disco, is a masterfully combination of industrial music, Techno, and dark poetry. Their sound was once compared to something like Eurythmics meets Chris & Cosey with a techno twist. Unaffected by the current trend of fast bpm trance mxied with pop, Years of Denial's sound can be best described as slow, yet powerful and sexy, reminiscent of old school Berlin sound. El proyecto se estableció el año pasado y se basa en una amplia gama de influencias e ideas absorbidas a lo largo de sus años de formación operando dentro de la escena techno de Tbilisi en constante expansión y ecléctica.
Su sonido puede describirse como una mezcla emotiva e hipnótica de influencias que fusionan elementos de la música corporal, el post-punk, el rave y el techno. 
Melodías tristes se tejen dentro de los ritmos pulsantes creando un nuevo contraste de emoción contra su programación de batería destructiva.

Knife presents Cyan ID, the techno project of young Georgian Producer and DJ Giorgi Bekurashvili. 
The project was established last year and draws from a wide array of influences and ideas absorbed through his formative years operating within the ever expanding and eclectic Tbilisi techno scene. 
His sound can be described as an emotive and hypnotic blend of influences fusing elements from body music, post-punk, rave and aggravated techno. 
Mournful melodies weave within the pulsating rhythms creating a fresh contrast of emotion against his destructive drum programming.
