Some of you will know the duo as the guys behind the People & Places podcast series, who over the last few years have given a platform to many young and not widely known artists, showcasing new talent, getting people heard, and expanding the network.  It should come as no surprise then that they're great DJ's too! 

Having grown fond of the boys over the years, wether catching them play around town or chatting nonsense on various dance floors, it seemed only right to ask them to provide us with a mix.

I wanted to create a soundscape that feels like an energetic warm bath of organic bassy sounds, held together by indulgent long blends which gently blur the edges of where each track begins and ends. I wanted it to be an energetic yet calming listening experience that can both inject energy in a grounded way and evoke moments of inspiration in your day-to-day motions."

Classically trained producer / DJ @soundsofluxe is flying right now. The London based artist has risen astronomically with a hue year in 2022, 2023 sees her dropping releases coming on Dansu Discs, Planet Euphorique (10 March) and some further major projects in the pipeline. At the forefront of new-gen rave, hardcore, trance - she is one to watch and has been killing it alongside peers such as Angel D’Lite, Mixtress and more.

The two artists featured on this latest issue of tdt are all in love with paying tribute to those famous years, and they do it particularly well. They are the very reason why we continue to look to the past to produce a present that strives to do better.
