The title boy band has never been able to hold the perpetual phenomenon that is New Edition nor can “Father Time”. The boys to now full-grown men are still going strong and currently on tour, delivering their Boston bred DC sprinkled gifts to their fans.

We recently had a chance to speak with Ricky, Ralph and Johnny during some downtime between shows and the energy and jokes were on full blast. New Edition are the Kings of the Stage and this tour will further secure that title.

It’ s not all work though during the tour, the fella’s are still in tuned with the world around them. We talked about sports on down to the current state of R&b, we even talked about a dream tour with their legendary peers!  Just having the chance to hear them interact during the interview gave glimpse on how in in sync they are on stage. They ensured that the selection of songs pulled from their entire group and solo catalogs would have you reminiscing the night away.

When we talked about the feeling of still being in demand for performances after all these years you could hear the sincere gratitude in their voices. The full interview is coming soon to XUMM.
