I finished it around 3 months ago. I had a blast working on it and I'm proud of it because there's a lot of cool little details in this song that I'm normally too lazy to add.

Hey there,

As promised, here's my remix of "Believe in You" by XData. It took some time because I was too lazy to add FX.

I could have added more layers in the drop but I wanted to keep it simple.

It was fun to remix and made me want to make more music these days, I bet you didn't expect me to make Melodic Dubstep did you ? (I suck lol)

The objective is to make Melodic Dub as good as Alesda or Roy Knox in a couple of years, we'll see if I succeed :)

This is potentially the last song I'll upload before the month of September since I won't bring might laptop on my holiday trip.

I have 2 completed songs that should come out in the near future though.

Hey there !

This is my remix of "Lonely World" by K-391 and Victor Crone, a.k.a "Summertime pt.2"

I started it a week ago, but I had to wait for the official stems and for the approval to upload it on Newgrounds.

To be honest, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out overall (it was a mess to mix together though)

I think it's pretty cool that I was able to implement celtic elements in this song.
One thing I would improve is the end?

This took me about 8 hours on the span of 2 day, I hope you'll like it !

This is a song I created during one of my Youtube livestreams. I was trying to bait Rocket Start into a collab and somehow turned this into a fully original song.

Astedroid & X3ll3n - Next to You [Velocity Release]

Hey everyone !

This is a collaboration between me and @Aethen(@Mestrix). He wanted to make a Tropical House EP and I asked if I could work with him on this song, which he accepted.

Here's the process of the collab :

- Aethen made the drop on Ableton and transposed it on FL Studio. Then I proceed to finish the song in an impressive 1.5 hours !

- I spend a couple more hours fixing it here and there refining it and send it back with the stems.

- Aethen does the final edits and spends time mixing and mastering it (it is the only song I've ever noticed a huge difference between before and after the mastering).

This collaboration is deer to my heart, I rarely had this much fun working on a project :D

We have another project, a collaborative Melodic House EP (started by yours truly over a year ago, I started all 3 tracks back then but needed for him to be free lol).

Hey everyone, X3ll3n here !

Did I forget the release date of my own song ? Maybe. Am I stupid ? Absolutely. Which is why I spent the past 2 hours making a cover and video from scratch.

This track has been a long time coming, I originally made it a year ago, but it took me 6 months to change a drop snare and a few more months to do the final fixes (I was lazy and unmotivated).

It has huge melodic house influences, one of my best original songs by far !

X3ll3n - Colorful [NomiaTunes Release]

Hey everyone !

This summer, I bought myself a new laptop in order to participate in a competition on Newgrounds called "NGUAC" while I was on holiday.
We had to make one original song every 2 weeks. I ended up placing 17th out of 440 contestants.

This track came to be in the semi-finals of said-competition. 
I wanted to blend 2 of my favourite genres : Melodic House and UK Hardcore. While the final result was good, I felt like it wasn't enough.
That's why I invited one of my favourite artists, Feel SY, to improve the song. And that's how "Wonder" became "Wonderland".

So yeah, last time I forgot about my own release date, but this time, I didn't ! (or at least I started making the video 30 minutes before it launched)
This has to be one of my best tracks, thanks to Feel SY who pushed it to the next level. I really hope I'll get to work with him again in the future :)

Astedroid & X3ll3n - Don't Say Goodbye [ASOS Doughnut Compilation]

Hey there,

This song was made on-stream in February 2022. No label wanted to release it except for NomiaTunes (they wanted a vocal change) and Spiration (they wanted me to change the drop melody).

While I had vocals re-recorded by JiwonAstrid, I felt like her voice clashed with the song itself and decided I'd make a different song for her vocals.

Since the Sound Space dev team wanted to use this song in their game, I decided to self-release it (so this will be the first song I'm distributing by myself on all platforms).

I stand by the fact that to this day, this is one of the best songs I've ever made. So I really hope you'll enjoy it !

Tldr : This song came out on Newgrounds last September, I finally decided to release it on all platforms. It placed 7th out of 74 people :)

﻿Hey there guys !

As you may know, I'm trying to involve myself more and more in the Newgrounds community. So this year, after being a finalist in the NGUAC, I decided to give Madness Day a try !

When I jumped into it 2 days ago, I had no clue what kind of music I was supposed to do. I guessed it should be some kind of violent industrial techno dnb thing, but since I can't do that, I improvised a Boom-Kitty' inspired bass music.

The song doesn't sound Madnessy enough in my opinion since I wanted to keep my melodic stuff in there, but I think I the drop is pretty cool. For a first time, I think I I nailed it.

I made this in around 7 hours in the span of 2 days (as always, I work super fast but spend a few hours trying to clean the audio a bit).

After the success of "Wonderland", I decided I'd ask Feel S.Y to collaborate with me once again after a few months.
I recorded a 30 minute demo reel just for him, so he'd pick whatever ID he wanted. Surprisingly, he picked the 2nd oldest one I had (from 2021).
The result ? A melodic house track that's even better than any NCS classic you could think of !

This song was originally made for the final rounds "Newgrounds Underdogs Audio Contest" in which I placed 17th out of 442 contestants.

Hey there guys,

I survived. I made it to the final round of this year's NGUAC, being one of the last 35 contestants left in the competition out of over 440 !!!

Originally, my entry was supposed to be "NCS-styled Future Bass", but while I was messing around, I somehow started this super fun project that feels quite different from what I usually make.

Now, I really hope getting out of my comfort zone will grant me the almighty frontpage and potentially an 80 point score or above (because from what I see, all the other contestants are gonna crush me).

The only disappointing thing for me is the ending, especially that piano which even after 7 EQ still had resonances.

I dedicate this track to my fallen brethern from the Audio Pub discord server, the friends who gave me feedback, but also the people who stayed during my stream (@Benji-G and Naom).

I also want to dedicate it to the chads at @TheNewgroundsPodcast and @VoicesByCorey for giving me the Supporter subscription while I was doing the final touches on the song.

Hey there, it's been a while !

This is a song I've made last year in collaboration with my friend  Benji-G , which led us to place 1st on a contest called "Madness Day 2023".

3lau - Star Crossed (LHB Remix / X3ll3n Remix)

An old remix I forgot about.

So, back in September, there was a remix contest hosted by Alan Walker, K-391 and Tungevaag. I finished my entry in 3 days (it took me 8 hours and was done the 9th of the month) but I forgot to post it.
It's one of the 3 remixes I was working on back then (along with "Levels" by Avicii planned for early 2020 and "Nanamori" by Kotori planned for March 2020).
I got too lazy to enhance it so there are many rushed or bad parts but I like it so I guess it's still fine. It destroyed my CPU though lol.

This is the first of my 27 actual WIPs, It was really cool to work on it !
People keep saying it sounds like Tobu / NCS but I don't think that's true lol.
I've made it in a bit less than 5 hours.

Hey there !

In November, I was bored so I tried to make a Kygo-styled track. And you know what ? I think it went amazingly well !
I recently found a label who was fine with releasing it : ETRecords ! You should check them out ^^

My only regret is that since I upgraded to Nexus 3, I couldn't fix some stuff in the songs without causing troubles, so I had to keep an older version. Still great in my opinion :D
