I often transcribe things because of this reason. But I was feeling particularly lazy earlier that day.

This song is absolutely amazing and I honestly think it's one of the best songs of the fandom. It replicates the emptiness of Gold so well while also putting you in a melancholy drone and feel for the whole song.

[OLD] [Friday Night Funkin / FNF] [Sonic.Exe] Triple Trouble [X-Side / Remix]

Ok so if you need context, lately I've been loving extra key songs. And a while back I found this youtube named Ronezkj15. Who makes just god-tier remixes of shaggy songs, check him out. Anyway, I found out that he was friends with another musician I liked, spurk. Who tends to make sick original shaggy songs (Check him out too). I had been seeing in their community posts that they were collabing, every time they posted the description of the community post was "collab's going great" and I thought that was hilarious. Then when the actual mod released on leather engine, (btw which is basically kade engine but with stuff that is psych exclusive AND extra features like built in extra keys which thanks to Leather128 for that.) All of the tracks were bangers. Which was incredible to me because I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. But low and behold I love this mod. I have a B on Space Breaker (fight me lol) which is a 12 key, 350 bpm song. I'm getting off track, the point is I love this mod. And my favorite song was the first one, double powered. It was just hitting all of the emotional tangs and positive feels with me. So yesterday, I took 6 hours out of my day and spent them transcribing the whole thing, which I was only gonna transcribe the vocals. And I kinda just kept going.

The thumbnail is basically the two shaggy's and matt's with each other playing their instruments on their respective sides. Which I made today and it took me 2 hours. Trust me doing this stuff is hard.

I didn't wanna rush myself with black sun x-side and too fest x-side so you guys wouldn't get rushed tracks without mastering and all that jazz. BUT! I am pleased to announce I will be redoing both too slow and you can't run X-Side.

anyway uhhhhhhhhh, so I had started this back like two weeks ago and I've been slightly working on it. though this was easily my most challenging midi yet. the factory noises and all of that shit. fantastic. 

Fortunately for you all, I took the time to completely recreate it in midi format. and I'll release it when we get to 10 likes that are not from bots or alt accounts. 

I have spent a total of, yes I recorded me making it every time I edited it, 12 hours and 53 minutes on this. I mean if that doesn't make you think that this was hard, I don't know what will.

So fun fact, I worked on this mod. But unfortunately V2 as of me writing this is canned, which is a shame because I was going to compose for it! However I found myself really disappointed with some of the music in the mod, which I rightfully addressed with the team in the dev server while V2 was still potentially being developed. 

Of these tracks I found myself liking Goktrap and Cancer the most, of course they’re not perfect. Hardly even close, but they were both so catchy I wanted to remix one of them. I decided on Goktrap at 2 am when arriving at a hotel for one of my college tours, because I started transcribing it. 

Wish I could’ve done it on FL Studio but honestly I’m still very proud of how this came out. 

Since I worked on the original team, this is technically semi-official! This was actually even considered to be put in the mod (right before it got canned unfortunately.)

Let me know if you want to see more remixes regarding this mod. In fact, I want to completely redo “The B” because if I’m being honest, that one is complete shit. Maybe I could finish up the song that I mentioned earlier.

i was trying to transcribe swapfell's cracked cranium and marrowtransyl so i decided to look up some to get an idea of what i was composing. i found one with a piano as a base. i took it into lmms and made the track much more accurate (it sucked being really off key and bad lmao) and then made it into a slower version. then i changed all instruments to jazz ones or mafia style.
