Amrit (IN) is a Indian artist based out of Chennai. His early head start into the field of sheet music in 2003 let him to where he is now. Always fascinated by live music, he started writing his own tunes in 2009 transitioning between multiple genres. He has been in minimal and psytech scene for the past 6 years still expanding his horizons with respect to music in general. Adding improv live sounds to his productions/sets is his niche and he is currently signed to labels like Soupherb, PointZer0, his home label Subtrail with multiple single releases on the imprints and two EPs already out. His music has been supported by various artists around the world at various festivals like Mo:Dem, Sisyphos and the likes.

We are going back deep down the rabbit hole. So deep that we are going to end up at the other side of the globe to showcase an Australian talent from the Alpaka crew - JOONMACK! Enjoy the ride on psychedelic soundwaves! Joonmack is a Melbourne-based producer holding residency within the ranks of Alpaka Muzik. With an intentional approach to his creations of removing any preconceived conventional formats and a focus into authenticity, his sound has quickly become apparent across the genres his tunes are heard within. This unique take has pushed joonmack towards the eventuality of all original sets which he continues to reform and develop. Happy to share my Gumi set at the very special Wild Horses Festival edition of 2024 in Australia. The first part of the set was a more banger and less chilled side of Gumi, with lots of Drum N Base, Breaks, and the usual Glitchy beats. In this episode you can listen to a Live Set recording with original tracks and remixes by IMAGINATION PROJECT, a Ukrainian electronic psychedelic live act blending ancient musical traditions with modern technology. Each track fuses organic and digital elements into a unique sonic experience.  Founded in 2009 by Andrii Okujah (ShivaOm, Lacerta, Frog Prog / Amrita) as Art Imagination, the project was inspired by Secret Vibes at the Misterika Festival and renamed IMAGINATION Project in 2011.  The current lineup has been solid for the past five years: 🔹 Andrii Averin – producer, composer, sound designer. 🔹 Pavlo Solovyov – multi-instrumentalist specializing in ethnic music, playing handpan, jaw harp, vocals, guitars, banjo, shaman’s drum, flutes, and didgeridoo. 🔹 Josh Lipman – British guitarist adding a unique touch.  Session musicians, including bandura players and vocalists, join for specific releases.

Welcome to the sonic world of Xænomørph - the brainchild of Thierry Lily, a rhythm maestro hailing from the scenic west coast of Mauritius Island. Born in the buzz of the 90's, Thierry was spellbound by music from the time he could barely string sentences together. Whether it was humming tunes or making melody out of life's simplest noises, his love for song was unmistakable.

In his youth, Thierry not only dipped his toes but dived headfirst into the exhilarating pool of fusion music as part of a local band. This was just the beginning of his musical romance.

Enter the wild teenage years, and Thierry was bitten by the irresistible bug of electronic music. He found himself particularly entranced by the mesmerizing beats of Deep House. But the real game-changer was his rendezvous with Psytrance in the closing months of 2017. It was a love-at-first-sound moment, a melodious thunderbolt that resonated with his soul. 

Life, or perhaps the universe, nudged him further into the entrancing world of DJing. A newfound calling, a stage where he could unleash his unique flair and the resonating beats that his heart danced to. Thierry, or as we now know him, Xænomørph, found his true home in the thrilling blends of Psytech, Zenonesque, Dark Progressive, and Forest Progressive. His electrifying sets are a testament to this passionate love affair.

Who lit the sparks, you ask? A plethora of maestros: Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Merkaba, Vorg, Alchemy Circle, Xompax, Quantaloop, Electrypnose, Slip Hypnotic, Triphonic, Kliment, Klipsun, Grouch, Scionaugh, Paracozm, Ivort, Hypogeo, Neurolabz, Mora, Zentrix, MYDA, Redshift, Persona, Myrtox, Stancke, Melt - they all had a hand in shaping Xænomørph's sonic journey.

His talent gained recognition, leading him to perform at festivals such as Groove&Bass Renegade Festival, Soundwave Festival and Era Festival.

He got the chance to share the stage with wizards like Electrypnose, Slip Hypnotic, Scionaugh, Quantaloop, Dr Strangefunk, Airi, Zentrix, MYDA, Kozy, Ecoteric, Crescendoll.. to mention a few. 

So here's to Xænomørph, an artist who didn't just chase his dreams but composed a symphony out of them!
