Get Out With Your MOE Trash: Mix Edition

After 8 years of digging Cantonese music, 4 months of ripping, cutting & editing 27 tracks, I've finally finished it. 

Here is a Mega-mix style where I play 27 tracks in 1 hour. Sort of the same as how Medley's were made back in the days. This mix is filled with edits I did in the past month of my recollection of Cantopop goodness, took out most of the cheesy bits, but left some for good measure.

They have a special quirky show called "Quizzinho". the concept is simple yet tricky, the guest has to answer a list of questions with music.

For those of you who missed it, the concept is simple, they ask questions and the selector replies with music.

This month’s selection is brought to you by @nativerigo , a French up-and-coming selector based in Lyon but part of the Supercamp festival and Super Daronne collectives out of Bordeaux.

He's a character, he's a dancer, he's a passionate person, RIGO doesn't lack qualities - sometimes crazy - added to his DJ performances. A young frivolous man, as comfortable behind the booth alone as with his SUPER Daronne band,  he travels through record shops and genres with surprising ease.

He feels the party and shares it with a  relaxed and always friendly vision. This is reflected in his Youtube channel "Be there or Be Square", where he unveils and shares fresh and forgotten music from around the world, without genre, without origin or age.

For the 10th edition of our FUSE series we bring you an exclusive DJ set from CPSmith, founder of Central Processing Unit, one of the most respected and prolific record labels in the world of Electronic Music.

Central Processing Unit, commonly referred to as CPU Records, is an independent British record label, founded in Sheffield in 2012, specialising in various forms of Electronic Music. CPSmith (Chris Smith) is the man responsible for it’s existence. A respected player in the Sheffield scene since the early days of Warp Records, Chris, heavily influenced by the Electro, Techno, early House and Bleep sounds from this era, has notoriously carried forward the legacy of a city that deserves huge credit for it’s contribution to the UK scene, and thus the country's reputation as being one of the pivotal hubs of the World.

We were honoured to collaborate with Chris and CPU for an unforgettable event at FOLD in November 2019. Chris formed part of one of our biggest ever lineups which featured The Advent and E.R.P. aka Convextion, along with front-line CPU and Natural Selection artists, including Plant43, 96 Back, Annie Hall, Kodah and Osc Kins.

Chris’ mix could be described as a history lesson in quality electronic music, but streaked with modern, advanced productions from his label and closely relevant artists.
