Xan Bishop is a Detroit based Producer & DJ. Escape through sound has always been a driving force behind his work. Stepping into production before learning to DJ, a self-sufficient catalog has allowed him to move dance floors from Colorado to Colombia. Being a Detroit native has instilled in him a style that embodies energy. Having been inspired by many of the originators; a kinetic yet stripped back theme is overarching throughout many of his tracks (Signed to PITS Records, Bang La Dex Recordings and 5th Dimension Records). March of 2022 saw his explosive track “Satanic Panic” hit number 14 on the Beatport 100 Raw/Deep/Hypnotic Techno charts. You might catch Bishop ranging anywhere from tripped-out brooding Techno & House; to cutting Electro and 2-step. Forward-thinking production and immersion in music cultures across the world are what keep him striving to create.

Premiere: Xan Bishop - Age of Innocence - PITS

Xan Bishop has provided a double side release with a more nocturnal after-hours feeling, featuring a full jacking house anthem 'The Thaw' on side A with the title track 'Age of Innocence' following a deeper direction. Reflecting on the fall and winter during which these tracks were written, Xan made them during a tumultuous time in life; the beginning of a new cycle. He likes to tread the line between house and techno, and the Age of Innocence EP is a nod to all the inspiration that got him here. He slots in as the sixteenth release for Detroit-based label, PITS.
