I recorded this in the back garden a few weeks ago with no agenda, no plan or anything, just a crate of beers and a sausage sandwich in hand. The idea was to mix until I ran out of beer and sausages.

It turns out that I had more of both than I thought.

Hey, I’m Xander. 

I’m probably just like you. 

I like music with melodies and atmospheres that take you back to good times you’ve had with pals, so you’re there, living the moment again. 

I like basslines that grab you by the ears and nut you square between the eyes. 

I like the groove in the drums, that snap in the rhythm that has your feet moving before you even realise. I like hearing stuff I’ve never heard before, forgetting about it and then discovering it all over again.

The music I make comes from unexpected places. I’ve lived all over the world, and I bring different parts of that experience to each track I make.

I’ve played everything from tiny intimate venues all night long, to big headline gigs. Most people on here have, to be honest, but that’s not what I came here to tell you. I’m not here for a dick measuring contest (although I would definitely win). 

I wanted to give you a snapshot of me - so this is it. I hope you like the tunes xo
