Out Of My Mind

"Life is a gamble. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. That’s just how life goes! However, the best part about life is the experiences you experience and the friends you make. Friends are priceless. Much like the Mona Lisa, a good friend is someone that cannot be replaced or replicated. A good friend is like a delicious cookie; Chocolate chips, cookie dough. But friends can be ruthless as well. Some friends are actually not out to be your friend, and instead are out to get you. They will sabotage your day to day life and they will try to bring you down when you are up. These are the signs of what is scientifically called a “Bad Friend”. See what you really want in life is a good friend. You can also BE a good friend to others by lifting them up instead of tearing them down! This is the best feeling in the world. When you tell someone you enjoy their presence more than anything in the world, that could make their day. I’m serious! Don’t you laugh at me now :). Sometimes when I come across a “Bad Friend” I will look at them in the eye and say “I Love You”. Love is the antidote. You can change an entire person’s life just by telling them I Love You. You may even watch their hate crumble from tough cobblestone into a lovely delicious cookie crumble! That is what being a good friend is all about. It is about Love and Kindness and Joy. If you’re sad, that’s ok too. Sometimes you have to be sad to appreciate the good times in life. On your deathbed you will look back on your life and say “Hey. I was a good friend”. Your life is like a novel. Winding and complex, exciting and boring at times. Be a good friend and your Novel of Life will be a New York Times Bestseller. Hug a tree. Just do it! You might just get out of the slump you have been in for years and years just by one single mossy embrace. Kiss the sand, for it once was rocks. History. Love one another!
