- that's the melodic track I always wanted to create. Such amazing chords in the original melody.
- I was a bit scared of upping the tempo at first, but it actually turned out great for a remix at 175 bpm. (I did change the pitch by a semi-tone up as well, that's however less noticeable)
- my main goal was to still capture the motion created by the original ost. hence the numerous piano parts and its overall presence throughout the track. didn't want to make something too fancy cuz 1) i certainly don't have the skills for it and 2) melody is simple => remix is simple, that's how it creates the most emotion IMhO!
- so Psylotribe is the artist who inspired me for this one w/ his track Atomicc (u'll find similar construction at the beginning of both tracks).

-Fairy tail is one of the mangas I really dove into alongside dbz, naruto and zatch bell. (ofc it lost itself in endless side stories & shit so I never made it fully through, however I keep great memories of it, and especially the ost!)
- hence my attempt at remixing two memorable soundtracks: "released power" (1st part)& the Main theme of the anime (later in the track).
- this idea came quite suddendly and the track was finished in 3 days.
- I basically recreated the melodies myself, no sampling from the original melodies. Two reasons: 1- couldn't find hq mp3s 2- you get much more control over your track when you create all the midi patterns and can create the melodies you want... guess I'll do the same process for my future remixes, w/ a good ear it doesn't take too much time to recreate the melody either.
- I made sure to keep the "folk/celtic" influences from released Power by using such vsts (Kontakt has been my best friend during the creation of this track <3). So yeah, flutes, violins, bagpipes, accordion, even a music box at the end.
