A writer-influenced insight into my life 
This body of work covers untapped acres in my soul's field
I found solace in emotional vulnerability  
I grew to realize that trusting the creative process makes it easier to find mood in music
Something I barely show because of the "sense of bravado" that comes with my alter ego
I grew concerned when I felt my music was starting to feel shallow
seeing as that i felt it was lacking a sense of depth and thoughtfulness I started looking inward 
peeling behind the layers of "my different selves" I looked for common ground
A point of reference to keep in mind as I pursue this journey.
This body of work is influenced by 70's Soul And Jazz, I've been listening to my father's music collection and gathering samples through his musical guidance 
I owe a lot to him but most importantly I owe my entire career to him, in 2016 my father played Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly for me in his car on a day trip. I've since been inspired to grow my linguistic prowess and pursue music as a career, for that I am eternally grateful.
This project is for all troubled kids who feel like they have no control over their lives, for all the kids that haven't fully healed from the passing of close friends, for all the people that need to hear a new breath of consciousness in an era filled with meaningless music, this project is for the music connoisseurs who have always sought for meaningful music, this project is most definitely for the hip hop heads that want to hear the rap bars over timeless beats, this project is for my family and friends, I value the life-long lessons you have shared with me, this project is for my supportive, beautiful and intelligent muse, it is through her relentless support that I got through some of the worst times while I was working on this project, Thank you for your incessant reassurance, thank you for the late night calls, thank you for being present at such a time in my life, I love and appreciate you.
