It's time to set sail as the label manager of Navigare Audio navigates his knowledge of music with a passion for nature and creativity. The driving force behind the label's graphical aesthetics, and with roots in the downtempo/-ambient and psychedelic trance scene. This Lost Minute brings you ALEXANDER SMITH's live set from DVN Camp, Rajka (09-08-2024). Alexander has lived in Nagykáta since birth. Since 2005, he has explored electronic music’s deeper layers, experimenting with various styles before settling on a sound that blends dub techno and ambient.  Early on, he collaborated with artists like Aero and Silverdub, remixing their tracks. His productions have been released on City Forest Records and Energostatic Record.  His passion for music led him to collect vinyl in 2015, preserving creative and tasteful works. In 2023, his journey as a producer took a leap forward with Berlin-based Odrex Records, bringing his music from digital to physical form. He debuted at DVN Camp and performed at the cult event Technodub Seance.  In fall 2024, his mini-album Csillagkapu was released under Technodub Seance. He’s also a regular guest on Tilos Rádió shows like Euphonic Moments, Plug & Lay, and ElektrikFreek.

Music and art can very much touch us with the essence of symmetry, balance, fluidity, cohesion whilst their counterparts: dis-juncture, chaos, inertia, provide the tension that makes for the through-line: Story.

No wonder then that Xavier Morel, a veteran and simply awesome producer and Dj speaks in such terms. In these days where the distinction between artist and playlist are becoming less distinct, the essence of audio art is becoming distilled in its import.

Starting his DJ career off in 1988 Xavier has Dj'd throughout Europe, Australia and Asia, most particularly Japan where he was based for years.

On the production front has worked and collaborated with Juno Reactor, Prime Suspect, Section X, Eat Static, Fuel, Carcharodon Megalodon, VX & H229 (on Machine Label),Marcus Maichel,Shane Berry,Oz Morsley ,and project comming with greg hunter,Marcus Maichel. Presently very active on the new project with pat lazer (aka section x)  REPLICANTS 2049.
