Born and raised in Quezon City, XCYLE’s passion for music started at the very young age of 7. As time went on, being engaged in music and entertaining people was just a part of his childhood dream that would eventually become his reality and career. 

Influenced by his neighbor's tenants, together with the country's most influential radio station since the early 80s, this lad pursued his DJ career from scratch. From being an underdog on a mobile crew, to carrying around crates of vinyl records, audio equipment, wires and speaker cabinets in 1997, he forced himself to learn the craft; the basic art of mixing and turntablism. Way back then, he ended up purchasing his first set of used DJ equipment and records through the support and efforts of his Mom and other relatives.

Then in 1994, he became a big fan of Hip-Hop. He loved to play and listen to the tunes of Cypress Hill, A Tribe Called Quest and Naughty by Nature, to name a few; which inspired him to innovate and improve his own skills in mixing tunes. His DJ influences were mostly local DJ celebrities like DJ Coki, Masta Plann's DJ Sonny, M.O.D. and Ouch.  But it wasn’t until the age of the World Wide Web and social networking came into play that his limited access to the world of DJing grew. 

Nowadays, XCYLE needs no introduction. Today, he is known to many as a mix-show DJ, a club DJ, a re-mixer and a turntablist. His innovative style of mixing and scratching routines on the fly while playing tunes, and his unique way of rocking a party have continuously entertained crowds over the years.

From 2009 to the present, have been very busy years for XCYLE. He holds his residency at a local hot spot in Cavite, and plays in various events across town and continues to work and make good music to please his fans.
