DJ i producent z Poznania. Swoją przygodę z muzyką rozpoczął w 1997 jako MC i producent na polskiej scenie hip-hopowej, od tego czasu był aktywny w wielu gatunkach muzycznych. Po kilku latach czynnej pracy na scenie jako MC zajął się w większym stopniu produkcją studyjną, dzięki czemu wygrał min. konkurs w jednej z największych wówczas rozgłośni radiowych „Trójce” utworem trip-hopowym z Natalią Grosiak. Kawałek został wydany na winylowej składance Junoumi Records, jego dorobek to również szereg wydań elektronicznych wydawał w wytwórniach: Hypnotic Room, Brainwash, Translucent, Take More Music Records, Luzztro Records, Achromatiq, Substratum Records, Trau-ma, T-records, Elektrax music.  W 2020 roku wygrał ogólnoświatowy konkurs na remix w renomowanej wytwórni ARTS. Aktualnie jest rezydentem jednego z czołowych klubów w Polsce – TAMA. Preferuje wszelkie odmiany muzyki techno. The 157th episode of the Jeton Records Radio Show welcomes Remco Beekwilder from Holland.

Remco Beekwilder, is a rising star in the Techno scene, known for his signature nostalgic but fast pace sound. He has quickly made his mark by performing at top clubs and events like Awakenings, Reaktor, Rotterdamse Rave, Soenda, Berghain, and Tresor.

In 2018, he founded the EMERALD label, pushing forward his vision of electronic music. His monumental “LSD” EP on Monnom Black showcased his diversity, with the title track reaching DJ Mag’s top 50 tracks of 2017. We have been lucky to host him in Istanbul at one of the Jeton Events back in 2019.

We are very pleased to have Remco Beekwilder back on Jeton, this month’s Jeton Records Radio Show with his set recorded live at De Samenzwering this year. Enjoy!

Xenex is a Croatian based Techno DJ and producer from Vukovar. He has been involved in the underground techno scene since 2006 and counts numerous appearances in some of the well known clubs in Croatia. Some of them were also abroad in countries such as China, Austria, Slovenia, Serbia and Bosnia. He shared decks with various international artists and most of the local underground artists in his region.

In 2013 he got into music production and till now his tracks could be found on labels such as Morc, DSR Digital, Eclipse Recordings, Naked Lunch, Dolma Red, Reload Black etc. Also his music could be heard being played or charted by artists like Amelie Lens, I Hate Models, Viper Diva (Shlømo & Hadone), A.Paul, DJ Jock, The YellowHeads, David Temessi, Du’Art, Boriqua Tribez etc. Style he plays is based on a darker and more straight forward techno, but he also likes to add a certain variety and dynamic elements in his sets depending on the crowd and atmosphere. His point of view is that techno is a music style that continuously evolves and so should we as artists. 

Xenex is also a founder of Croatian electronic music association RE:CODE. It managed in a short period of time to become a well established organization for promotion of electronic music culture and underground techno scene by showcasing international artists that never before played in its region.
