Well after so many years in the shadows Frequency Less project evolved to Freckles with a completely new style and emotions. A new journey starts and this has been the very first live set i played in a festival. Specially crafted for Own Spirit Festival, on a special moment during the event while the sunset was painting the magic lake in gold colours. 
What a moment to be alive, what an amazing experience that was.

A estética deste EP explora a dualidade entre os sons orgânicos e sintéticos que compõem o Psytrance. As três faixas propõem uma jornada melódica que questiona qual é a barreira conceitual que separa os elementos naturais e não naturais da música e qual é o efeito desses elementos na pista de dança. A combinação de atmosferas orgânicas e melodias misteriosas com uma linha de baixo presente e imprevisível cria uma paisagem sonora ideal para o dia ou começo da noite.


The aesthetics of this EP explores the duality between organic and synthetic sounds always present in Psytrance music. This 3 tracks propose a melodic journey that question what is the conceptual barrier that separates the natural and the unnatural elements in music, and what is the effect of those elements in the dancefloor. The combination of organic atmospheres and mysterious melodies alongside the strong unpredictable bassline creates an excellent soundscape for the day or evening.

XenoGressive aka Xeno Liebs & Jean-Pierre Kotze is a collective neuro-venture from Port-Elizabeth , South Africa signed to Insonitus Records.

Due to the limited exposure to dark progressive music in South Africa, their mutual obsession with the style led to the birth of XenoGressive, and their unique sound regarding their taste, style & influences.

XenoGressive has played at many festivals both in South-Africa and China. These festivals include Vortex Opensource, Earthdance, Southern tipsy, Freaky Forest, Wacky Woods and Echo Gatherings to name a few.

XenoGressive as a concept, consists of dark, grimy basslines, funky but not funny percussion, organic atmospheres which is Xeno-influenced all built on a solid psygressive structure.
