Who is Xenon Stone?

Xenon Stone is Shannon Williams and once he beat up a clown, he really did.  And he is going to take you on a trip through the wondrous world of sound. 

In 1994 at the tender and innocent age of 17, Shannon had snuck into his first nightclub.  It was called "The Zoom" on Oxford St in Sydney and he was there to see the Acid-house DJ's in the relatively new dance scene that was emerging and after one great night he was hooked and wanted to be involved from that point on.

He began his DJ'ing career in 1998 during the golden era of dance music in Sydney, Australia.  Making his mark in the cut-throat underground dance scene, Shannon wanted more and set his sights on the London scene in 2002.  After being in the UK  for over 5 years and playing in clubs such as Bug Bar, EGG Nightclub and Liquid Lounge and at the Teknoville festival, his style developed from primarily being Breakbeat and Progressive house to a more varied and worldly style incorporating genres such as Techno, House, Hard Tech, Minimal and Breakbeat.

Ultimately, he has focused on a sophisticated style of techno which he is eager to introduce to a wider audience who have not been lucky enough to be exposed to this genre.

Using his distinctive style and choice of tracks to his advantage, Xenon Stone started to make his name known in old London town. Consistently playing to a high standard and never bowing to trends led to him being involved in the club & squat party scene in and around London.  Incorporating elements of both scenes, Xenon Stone developed a more distinctive and refined style which set him apart from the masses, I mean as far like the Sex-pistols are from Britney Spears!   

Whilst having elements of both without one overpowering the other, he has effortlessly played along side the likes of Pig & Dan and Miss Kitten @ the ever growing WetYourSelf parties and has also appeared with D.A.V.E the drummer and Chris Liberator @ numerous squat parties in London  

Having been around the scene for so long, Xenon Stone knows what it takes to get a party going and how to keep its momentum running and then how to push it further.  Always trying to be one step ahead of the competition by exploring new and interesting styles whilst never forgetting his roots, a set by Xenon Stone is something that you do not want to miss out on, simply because you will miss out on a great experience that he works hard to give his audience.

1001 Bar ,EGG Night club, WYS, BUG BAR  [UK], EXODUS , Dragon Dreaming festival Australia, Isotopia Eclipse festival, B.U.N.K.E.R  AUS, MOONFLOWER fiesta in Argentina, Disquera in  Cordoba, Argentina and Carnival in Uruguay.

These days something good that is well worth your time is a hard thing to come by, Xenon Stone delivers every time with a smile. 

And as Bill Cosby said, "You might even learn a thing or two"!
