Was really getting into Skinny Puppy when I wrote this, hence the emphasis on synth. It is about one who enters a Jesus cult and is told to enter fire as a sort of initiation ritual in which God will prevent him from harm. As everything in Christianity is false, he ends up being badly burnt, as unbeknownst to him it was a sacrifice to their alien God. Seeking revenge, he attacks and destroys the cult that maimed him.

Darkness Harbinger (July 2010)

I was inspired to write this after a conversation with a friend who stated that their primary source of music came from pop FM radio and other common mainstream outlets, simply because it was more convenient than searching out good music in the underground. Now we all know how music stimulates the brain and our emotions, and we also know how those who own contemporary music labels use this to influence our thoughts and opinions to suit their agendas. So I fail to see why bright, fun, smart, intelligent people would want to settle for such mainstream crap which is nothing more than toxic mind control to "stimulate" their minds. Yes, music is mostly subjective, but a line has to be drawn somewhere. One may think my music is not good to their ears, but tell me WHY. Give artistic reasons. Critique my art. Do not just say "it's more convenient to like this than that". Don't be a zombie like everyone else because it's easy.

Musically, I was not fond of this track for a long time, which is why the chorus later appears in The Terrorproxy. I have come around to liking it nowadays, as a brief outburst of hostility towards everything degenerating.

The Beast Has Overcome (February 2011)

First song written for what was to be called the Trial Specimen 02 demo.  I had met with three individuals looking to form an "Industrial Metal" band, and upon asking when first practice was the next day, they said they were moving on as a three-piece.  In my rage at being excluded without even practicing with them, or them hearing what I had to offer, I wrote this. It's basically about mankind plunging into infinite despair over our failure to overcome this Jesus Christmas character. The virus became terminal and ruined the host. Thankfully more and more people are waking up every day, and we are seeing the fall of Christianity in this lifetime.

Track 04 on what was to be called the Trial Specimen 02 demo.  Was listening to a lot of Wormed and Blut Aus Nord, hence the chaotic brutality mixed with "weirdness". I was fed up with what I saw in the food industry and how the average domesticated "person" these days doesn't give a damn about the suffering that goes into the meals they must have. We must eat meat to live healthy, but industrialized farming is not the way and people these days are essentially cattle themselves. Thanks to those that affectionately have their own term for us, which means "cattle" in their filthy dialogue.

While recording this, the low E string of my guitar snapped, so I had to use a different guitar to finish it. The first minute or so is played on a 6 string, while the rest is on my 7-string.
