The Applecross Mix Series is back! We are stoked to be kicking off 2025 with a delicious blend of dubstep, rave, and club sounds from dj_apez (@apes_140), a friend of the collective, and DJ/promoter currently based out of Connecticut. From throwing weekend raves in the woods of rural Vermont to his current residency at Stella Blues in New Haven, CT, dj_apez has cultivated a community centered around a love of many styles of dance music. Catch his next show at Stella Blues on 3/27/25 featuring Applecross resident and mix series curator @badopera, along with @winter-atlas, @the-real-melissa-b, @feralsound, and @fightmebro.

From dj_apez: 

I embarked on this musical project as dj_apez five years ago. It was born out of a desire to bring a community together around a deep passion for music. During this journey, I have and intend to continue exploring the breadth of the underground. Each set, radio show, and mix I put together intentionally reaches back into the origins of each genre played while also staying on the cusp of the newest dubs. Now as a resident and promoter of dance music focused parties at Stella Blues I've had the opportunity to get people dancing. Please come through for our next shindig (:
