Back in 2008, Teli Sandor from www.hardsid.com released a new version of his Hardware SID Player / Synthesizer.

I was so amazed that i did a free soundbank for the HardSID as it was released.

It was one of my last projects i made on my very, very old PC, the demo was played live, the audio was recorded on a mac using a MOTU Audio interface, everything was triggered by me on a M-Audio Keyboard through Logic pro to the PC, running a very old Logic 4.8 version with an old, dusty Emagic Midi Interface... ;)

What you hear is one of my amazed 6581 SID Chip's... So greeeeattt... ;)

Back in the 80s, when Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett Brown were flying around with his DeLorean through our cinemas, we were just in our early teens and played on the C64, Atari ST or similar machines while listening to music mostly made with analogue and digital synths from this epoche.

We’re still in love with the old machines so we decided to make hybrid library using analogue technic combined with digital processing through analogue outboard…

Synth Motions Vol.1 is our contribution to this time, 1.28GB of lush pads, plug sounds, digital bells and more, newly programmed using the digital and analogue technology to get back the old 80s vibe useable for synthwave, retro pop, retro wave, retro electro or actual genres.

Synth Motions Vol.1 is NO loop library, Synth Motions is a instrument library. Every WAV file features a loop start and endpoint which can be read by the most software samplers on the market. Simply drag’n’drop the WAV file into your favourite sample player and you are ready to play. Every instrument was recorded without any effects like reverb or delay, use your own own trusty 80s reverb and delay and get your personal feeling.

Roland V-Synth Motions

This small performance was completely made on the Yamaha Modx6 with the FM-X section only, it was a small demo for a friend who bought a Elektron Digitone. 

He told me that he really like the Digitone, sure, the Digitone is a great machine but you can do the same with the Modx because you can do much more with the machine, you have 64voices, more FM Algos, 8 OP's and more...
